What do you think of Nickelodeon today

When is that pile of literal fart going to get cancelled?

The difference between genius and stupidity is that genius has its limits.

The difference between a good and bad show is that good shows end eventually. Bad shows either never end or end later than they should, of course I shouldn't be talking in that aspect since I still watch Pokemon.

ALERT ALERT

NICK MAY BE REDEEMING THEMSELVES

They announced that they're going to make a new show to premiere this spring based off of School of Rock.

Gonna take way more then one show at this point though to really "redeem" them, even if this show does turn out good. :P

Yeah, for starters, they can literally kill Spongebob.

Fairly Odd Parents has been become somewhat better, with Timmy being less self-centered and his parents are noticeably less abusive, they're still stupid though, but it's probably better to have stupid parents than abusive parents.

But FOP also introduced Sparky.

Oh no, they are going to RUIN IT!
the director of the movie is going to be executive producer so hopefully it won't be too awful

True, Sparky's not a good character, but that doesn't mean the episodes with him are bad.

My prediction still stands.

Y'know, even if the show was good, I'm still not going to watch Nick until they make as much quality shows as crap now.

So probably never.

Really? Wow.

I have all the old episodes on DVD, and I can't wait for some more.

dude, watch school of rock. it's a movie in which jack black teaches a class of elementary school pricks to access their inner punk and learn about the awesomeness of rock music. it's fantastic

Still only gonna watch Nick for the ICarly episodes that show at 5:00-6:00 or 6:30. Yep, Disney is way better

I saw the movie and loved it.

Still not interested in the upcoming TV show.

^oh hey, i'm subscribed to that guy.

i like how he can give a thorough analysis without having to resort to obvious jokes. not that i have anything wrong with the nostalgia critic or shows that do utilize a more humorous style, but it's nice to see a critic take their review as seriously as enter does once in a while.

Bumping this thread.

Nick is... isn't doing good in their animation department

I mean, Spongebob is still on.

But stuff like Loud House isn't good, and plenty of animated shows in the 2010's that have aired are just garbage.

But stuff like Loud House isn't good
strong disagree.

My friend and I have been watching the new spongebob seasons, they're actually good? Like, I know the whole story of it being a slap in the face to Stephen Hillenburg, however, we seem to collectively forget he wasn't the only writer.. and that his co-director is making the episodes now?? And they're on point.
The only time they stray off course is when they do that ridiculous spin-off stuff like Camp Coral. TBH even Camp Coral seems like it'd be easily popular with the target audience, children.

But yeah, if anyone here's a classic spongebob fan, i suggest giving the new seasons a try. They had a bumpy start without Stephen , then got the hang of it a season later.
