In just 2 days i start the chat.
Then the people that didn't make it will get to start a chat here.
But you have to wait until then. OK?
Why can't other people join after the chat started? It's not that I want to join, btw.

Maybe Sly Guy is. I am using it as rankings. That is, how much do you like it with 1/10 being a very bad game, 10/10 being a very great game, based on how you like it.

Mario and Luigi make for freaking sweet parents, I'd freaking play a game where the only thing that happens is Mario and Luigi taking care of Baby Mario and Baby Luigi 🤗🤗🤗

im still playing through the series, currently playing partners in time, but heres my ranking of what ive played so far

superstar saga: 9.5/10. this game is practically nearly flawless. it's genuinely some of the most fun i've ever had playing a mario game. i guess my only problem is that some of the bosses are really easy, with the exception of late game bosses and the chuckola monster.

partners in time: 8/10. i havent beaten the game yet, but i'm really enjoying it so far. i don't like it as much as superstar saga tho, for a few reasons: it doesnt feel as charming as superstar saga in my opinion and the moves in superstar saga are much more fun to pull of. but this is already a really good game, and that's saying much as someone who probably hasnt even played half of it

I guess I'll extend my thoughts on each game a bit.

Superstar Saga (SSS) - Everything felt right to me here. The battles were fun, I liked the overworld, and the crazy adventure. While not perfect, it is definitely my favorite in the series. A.

Partners in Time (PIT)- Honestly, I felt that this game was the closest to capturing that "feel" of SSS. I loved controlling all four characters in battles, the Bros. Items, and the overall plot of time traveling. I think the final area might have dragged on a bit from what I remembered from my last playthrough a few years ago, but otherwise it is another good game in the series. B, but leaning towards A.

Bowser's Inside Story (BIS) - I think this is were the games started to experiment with gimmicks, but I felt they were good for the most part. Bowser was a good addition to this game, and the giant Bowser battles was decent. (But I could have done with not having to blow into a mic). I like the concept of being inside bowser and seeing how the events inside would affect Bowser. However, some of the minigames were annoying to play, like the nose minigame. Some of the bosses were also annoying to fight, like Junker. The bros moves aren't as fun to pull off, but Bowser's specials do sort of make up for that. This is still a good game in the series. B.

Dream Team (DT) - The battles and moves are fun to pull off and the Luigi Giant battles was kinda okay. Going into dreams was an interesting thing, but I felt the plot wasn't as interesting as the previous games. I think was hurts this game for me was the length and pacing of the game. Things tended to drag alot in this game and I had to take breaks before I finished it. Overall, I think this game is okay. C.

Paper Jam (PJ) - Despite the battles being fun, I couldn't even force myself to finish this game. I was really meh about the Papercraft battles and I wasn't digging the Paper Toad hunts. I would have liked to see the characters go into the Paper Universe or something. D, but I might lean towards F since I didn't finish it.

Do you wanna be in my secret M & L chat @BlueShelledKoopaTroopa?

What I liked most about the first Mario & Luigi is the lack of characters who only tagged Mario and Luigi for the purpose of being the mouthpiece. It is pure Mario and Luigi interaction and I daresay felt more organic and fun, especially when they speak gibberish to other characters. Partners in Time added Stuffwell, who started the mouthpiece trend even though he's basically the inventory taker (Superstar Saga has a briefcase too, but it's not alive). I haven't seen much from the future games but I have a feeling that Starlow is the mouthpiece for the brothers going forward.

Thank you for reading.

DreamAlpha: The demand for higher specs is too much for our workers and pay.. it's becoming too difficult keeping up, we're sorry everyone.
Nintendo: You're fired.

Indie devs: Hey so I'm making a game where you play as a square that run and jump across other squares.
Nintendo: You're hired.

The Superstar Saga remake, I played just today, I overall like more than the original. There's a few things I miss but I'll take that over the rather ugly original. Also that soundtrack I modded is rocking but probably drives up the age rating. :P

Yeah. The Superstar Saga remake is an improved game. It was a good game to remake. BIS didn't need a remake on the 3DS, though, as it could already be played on a 3DS due to the 3DS being able to play DS games. I haven't seen the BJJ story, but the BM story is really good. The gameplay, however, is bad. It is all battles and no exploration. And the battles in that mode get boring over time too.

i havent played the remake, but its apparently much easier (except for the koopaling battles. seriously you could beat those in seconds in the original). however it looks amazing, and i should give it a go someday

This chat isn't working out too well, Nobody's talking about anything, I guess this wasn't a good idea after all. ☹ Even I don't know what to say☹

i mean....this kinda thing happens with any kind of thread, even if theyre popular. i guess theres just not really anything to talk about rn.

welp, time to start a discussion
What do you guys think will be the big gimmick in the next mario & luigi? i know alphadream went backrupt, but nintendo will probably make the next game. i hope we have some kinda game that has wario and waluigi in their own adventure or something. that would be sick.
