They are possible, but if you can't get them, doesn't mean nobody can.
 
Then it is programmed to be Shiny.
If it wasn't, you'll need to replace an existing Shiny to your new one.

My only shiny in my game I commonly use is Rhypherior and believe me nobody going into its flesh.
 
I don't have any shinies yet...




Smugleaf of the recent generation, if I have not mentioned him before in this thread. His smugness amuses me...
 
IMO, I'm so glad they didn't use Snivy's fan name as an official name.
 
I just noticed the combination of snake and ivy in Snivy's name. I still prefer the name Smugleaf.
 
For a Water and Dragon, I like Palkia more than Kingdra
 
On the topic of shiny Pokémon, I have a shiny Magnezone (caught as a Magnemite on Rt 222 in Platinum) and a shiny Gyarados (from Rt 230, also caught in Platinum).

You lucky. Magnezone is my favorite 4th gen Pokemon
 
Electivier. Elekid is one of my favorites, and Motor Drive + Hit by 2 Electric attacks from a partner in doubles=Show me how you lose! (Reference to Captain Falcon) :P
 
On the topic of shiny Pokemon, I have Geodude (only one I caught), Pichu (The event Pichu from March 2010), Stunky, Hoppit (or the way you spell it) and Lickitung (again, the way you spell it). Last three were from trading.

Yeah, I meant moves. They're awesome in a pinch, but I hardly ever use them.
 
Question: how do you get shinys?Do you just find them along Routes, or do you have to do something to get them?
 
One you can just capture is shiny Gyarados from the Gold and Silver games.

And another fact is that shinies do not have any sort of special function. They are simply just different colored Pokemon. That's all.
