Well, guys, as you probably know, my family and I are moving to Idaho
in the next seven-to-eight months. It's quite possible I will have NO
internet acess up there, so I'm thinking of breaking off all ties early.

The reason is not only because I'm moving. I'm also beginning to feel kinda...
left out. No longer is the focus of the MarioWiki to make friends, learn
Mario lore, and chat with people across the globe. Now the Wiki seems like
some sort of internet friendsite where you have to draw comics,
make up some weird part of Wiki fanon, like Wiki War II, or
make some stupid fan-game to be part of the community.

When I first came here, all this was was a Mario info site. Eventually
it became a large, diverse community. But now there's all this stupid fanon
surrounding the Wiki, and I'm not sure whether I'm an anti-hero, a hero,
some sidekick or whatever in all these fanon stories. My image is being used
EVERYWHERE, and most of the time I'm clueless. I'm definitely moving off Userpedia;
I am sick sick sick of all that crap over there.

And on the forum, things are almost the same. You can't really say your mind
without it being criticized by some annoying other member. You can't try
to have fun or chat with people in the Off-Topic section before someone
pops in and screams something about waffles 200 times.

And finally, the chat is just plain bonkers. When it was first formed,
Wayoshi, Paper Jorge and I had quite a few great chats in there.
Now I'm afraid to go in, for fear of ticking some overractive moron
off or getting flamed and told to "go to f***ing hell" by someone
I ALREADY ticked off.

All things considered, I'm feeling that this site has moved on without
me. I'm pretty much just a throwback to the old, boring days. You guys
wanna make some kinda fairy-tale about the Wiki's existence, you do that.
Once I leave, I'll probably be known as some guy who was killed in battle
by an evil spamer. But once I leave, I just want to be forgotten. Don't
go constructing some fan story about how I left. Just move on with your lives.

I'll probably leave early; msot likely in February or April. I am definitely not
staying past my birthday; April 4th.

I'll miss you all more than you miss me. You guys made up a major chapter of my life.

And please, no stupid, sappy comments. I've gotten enough of those.

Moogle and Maka, if you DARE to spam this...

I'll understand you on this. If I ever left the wiki and that someone made some Userpedia article about how I made an heroic last-stand before being killed by the troll/dark/user/wikipedia users that everyone here seem to hates for no reason, I would definately feel insulted.

I am 100% with you and your views on Userpedia, fare thee well.

... I kinda' feel the same way. I came here originaly in order to chat about Mario, edit a bit, and have fun. And the fanon is kinda' getting lame.

I feel that the forums should be reserved for Wiki members only, so that we can have SOME kind of order.
I'm not usually criticized except for liking Bowser Jr. >_>

The chat rules are too lenient. Anyone like that should be immediatly kicked. Second offense= Ban.
I usually go in the room and have great chats with well-respected members. But some guest or a not well-respected member comes in and ruins it.
In short, I agree.

I don't think it is a problem of not having any internet access in Idaho (Since I'm sure there is) but the problem of his parents not wanting internet access. But 3D, if you don't have any internet acess but manage to get your hands on a WiFi device, and there happens to be a Panera Bread near your house, please drop by!

Also, thanks 3D... Your comments on the wiki's fanon made me realize that I shouldn't try hard to get my next comic out very soon. Thanks for giving me another excuse to be a lazy spammer! :P
