Where would you live in the Super Mario Universe?

One day you were minding your business when you tripped and fell into a warp zone. The warp zone contains pipes that will take you to any location that originated in the Mario series. When you arrive in your chosen location you meet Builder Toad. You found Builder Toad's lucky hat that he lost, so he offers to make you a cozy house in whatever location you choose (He's good at his job, and you are guaranteed to like the house). You can't build your house in silly places like the middle of a race track though, so be reasonable. So where are you going to live in the Mario Universe?

think i'm going to have to go with petalburg. considering that the offer is specifically for a "cozy" house it would probably be out of place in poshley heights. bonus points for (a) me getting to live near koops and his family and (b) having a whole castle for my bf who is a much kinder dragon than hooktail

Honestly, Bowser's kingdom. It has the best security in the whole world, winter doesn't exist aside from supernatural invasions, and the only con is that Bowser gets to push me around. I'm chill with following orders as long as they're not to get up into the grill of other kingdoms. Load some cannons, run airship maintenance, sweep the castles... all of those are things I could do to be useful to Bowser without being in an attack force. Heck, if Ludwig von Koopa is entirely truthful when using his Negotiate first officer command, Bowser's Minions is actually a great army in terms of benefits and quality of life, with the primary drawback being having the bratty Bowser Jr. as a co-leader.
