Mario shouts the game title in 'Mario 64'?!

[Conebone]

I was recommended this video that compiles all the times Mario shouted/announced the game's title in the intro or opening of a game and Mario 64 is featured on here with an actual audio clip that sounds like...well MARIO! What's going on here? is this some unused clip? what deamonry is happening. cant be Mandela effect cause i played the game recently and it wasn't there

it's 2026, people can make fake audio for these videos using AI or the numerous other tools used to make fake audio clips that existed long before the AI plague began and have been able to do so for years.

[Princess Mint]

Weirdly, it sounds like someone doing an impression.

[Xiahou Ba]

The audio doesn't even fit in with the audio the actual title screen uses.

Anyway, here's the real version of this.

I can make out a faint yahoo in between 64 and wahoo. Which is weird because it sounds exactly like the yahoo when you do a long jump or triple jump in the game.

I think the person who made the video edited in unrelated audio of Martinet saying the game's name as Mario and put it in there, acting as if it counted for the list. The only other video on the channel is a 2 hour long compilation of every time Martinet recounted the story of how he became the voice of Mario. Maybe the source of the clip can be found in there?
