Awards Killing Game 2x2: Moon of Hope (Game Thread) - Day 3 - The Rat, the Bat, and the Dragon

Do any of the weapons in the Armory, or any items in the Garage or Metal Laboratory, match the profile of the wound on Winter's head?

Check for paint traps in the Armory.
There's a can of paint lying forlorn and spilled upon the ground.

Also, upon rechecking, you can confirm there's various weapons missing as well. You can't do a proper full inventory, but yep. People sure did take weapons.

You could get the long, thin, cylindrical objects of this type in all three locations.

Just in case there's anything we've missed, I'll investigate the Hollow Tree and the Studio for anything that's changed or unusual, and if there's any general area we can investigate then the Gloomy and Old Bedrooms too.

Send a minecart into the closed gate and see how much damage if any occurs

You investigate the Hollow Tree. Nothing of significance has changed since the previous night.

You investigate the Studio. Several supplies are missing - paint, tools, plaster, a purple LED...

You investigate the Bedrooms Common Area. You notice an article is pinned up in the Old Bedrooms.

SCAM SCIENTIST SLAMMED FOR SHAMEFUL SHARD SWINDLE: GADD ZOOKS SENT TO FEDERAL PRISON FOR TRICKING GULLIBLE LORE BORES

Gadd-Zooks-Prison.png

Dr Gadd Zooks, a famous scientist, was sent to prison forever. He is now in prison forever. His son Dr Lee Chaolan said "This is really bad for my dad because he kind of lowkey hates it in prison". The Dark Moon is fake so don't bother with the shards anymore. You have been warned.

Check the vicinity of the Graveyard for robots and any other still undiscovered Scooby-Doo chase sequence monsters that may or may not exist.
You don't find any such monsters here.

Send a minecart into the closed gate and see how much damage if any occurs
What closed gate? It was opened.

Are any metal rods missing from the Clockwork Courtyard?

Whether they are or not, do they fit the wound on Winter's head?

The metal rods are large, massive rods that are buried in the ground, connecting the five great gears with the pedestal in the center. None are missing, and they are far larger than the wound.

Beginning from the Kitchen, is there a Darklight trail for the... hm. This is an odd word. The surstromming... I may not have pronounced it correctly. I'm not good at that anymore.

Anyway, Fascia and I want to follow a trail from the Kitchen to the Icy Lake itself, where it was kicked into.

You manage to establish a vague trail. It looks like it went through the Space Exhibit, the Aviation Exhibit, the Sandy Grounds, the Icy Grounds, and finally the Icy Lake. Or, dried up paper lake. You cannot establish any details beyond the rooms.

Fascia would like to closely examine the components used for the Sewer bomb, please.

Namely, while she does so, I want to check the Maintenance Hub to see if there is a sign of someone making a bomb down there. And, if the batteries used can be sourced from it.

Shine a darklight on the battery and the coal residue on the pipe

There's the burnt cloth, the battery, the wires, and the black dust. Beyond what you've already examined, you can't find anything new from this examination.

You check the Maintenance Hub. There's no signs of bomb work. You could get the relevant battery, but no such batteries are missing from that room.

You confirm the battery is an industrial battery. A solid block of battery.
Shine a darklight on the battery and the coal residue on the pipe
There is no reaction.

What kind of battery was used in the bomb? Check the Garage and Workshop to see if any are missing.

Check the remains of the car for any missing batteries or anything unusual.

Check the handtrucks in the Container Yard for missing batteries.

You check the Garage, the Car, the Container Yard, and the Workshop.

The garage is not missing any industrial batteries, and the car's battery is still there. It's very broken, but it's there. The Container Yard also has all batteries.

The Workshop is missing an industrial battery of the same kind as used in the bomb.

Do the scratches look like Winter was dragged across the platform? I'll drag each segment of his body across the platform to compare.

How deep are the scratches?
Are they arranged in any particular pattern or just random?
They're not very deep.

They appear to be two identical sets of scratches relatively close to each other. They're in basically this pattern:

They do not.
