We are now on Day 2.

It is Elimination Time. Cast a vote for who you think is a Traitor using the following format: "Vote: Player". The player with the most votes at the end of the phase will be eliminated. To vote for no elimination, use the following format: "Vote: No elimination".

Special Event:
During Day 2, every player will be able to send a short message privately to the host, roughly 8 words long. At the start of Night 2, the host will publish all messages for everyone to see, but the authors will remain anonymous.

The phase ends Feb 28, 2026 at 12:00 AM .

Alas, despite my best efforts, a friend of ours has been slaughtered, and one within our midst has betrayed us. Rest assured, however, my remaining friends; we shall see to it that the traitorous wolves in sheep's clothing will meet their grim demise, hanging from the gallows.

Heh. Our Traitors have taken the coward's path of targeting a silent party. I hoped they'd have more chutzpah than that.

Until someone comes forward with more immediate info, I would like to start today with a simple question: which of the suspects who swapped to No Elimination late yesterday are Traitors?

I highly doubt anyone evil expected a vote to go through yesterday, but they could've had hope that one would. Holding out juuuust in case the opportunity presented itself! We had two people completely abandon their votes on the nose, right around the same time, shortly after the tides of conversation were made clear. This is an interesting little pivot.

One of our two flip-flops, and you're being awfully baity with your words. I would hope that a helpful Investigator wouldn't be so open about nighttime assistance! Tell me, suit: why did you hop onto the Boo vote, and why did you hold off as long as you did to change your vote? You said it was to break a vote tie, but the phase was early, and a No Elimination could've gained easy traction if you'd voted that direction.

Note that I'm not asking you about these "best efforts" you're alluding to. Unless you're trying to put a reticle on your head, I recommend you be more hush about your goals, yeah?

I will gladly share this information. I had hopped on the Boo vote initially to dissuade the Yoshi from keeping his vote for me; it had worked. As for the holding off, I had initially planned to change my vote early on, but then noticed how the votes were in favor of sparing the nose regardless. I kept my vote on him to see who else would vote for him, seeing how there were multiple votes cast in his way and giving hope to the betraying party. It had not revealed much after a bit, so I swapped to the side of sparing as to show my intentions were not to lynch the poor facial feature.

As for my stated goals, I am among a few to show my intention to help the loyal survive this ordeal. Is there any particular reason for you singling me out here? The nose too appears to have a similar goal to me. Besides; the Goomba had already mentioned the patrol. I had not said anything unknown to our group at the time.

…I'm not sure if I agree with the target of BigBoom. On one hand, we haven't really seen him yet, so I get the whole "apply pressure to get him to talk" thing…

…but also, what if he's innocent? We would have wasted a day targeting someone only to end up furthering the X-Nauts goals by accident with a baseless accusation.

I will argue not for executing this "BigBoom" individual in specific for I know little about them, but I would like to say that there will always be doubt no matter who the unfortunate nominee is. There will always be "a shred o' doubt lingerin' in the back o' [your] mind". I advocate not for execution or sparing for today, as I have little to go on for a correct choice; I simply want to let this fact be known.

Well, using language like "despite my best efforts" implies that you have night abilities to spare. All I'm saying is, if you're the doctor or something, stop the chatter.

Now our investigation is getting very interesting! If you want my thoughts on BigBoom... permit me to be, well, "meta" for a minute.

If you'll notice, our first victim today was an Investigator living in a Town House. If you pay attention to how many of us are here in Rogueport - sixteen - you can reasonably deduce that three or four people here are Traitors. How many people are living in a Town House? Three, now that one has dropped from the ranks, but we started with four! And if you do quick math... see where this is going?

I believe it more than likely that at least one player in a Town House is a Traitor. I could be wrong! The dice could not have rolled with this favor! But for my money, I'm willing to gamble. So, from where I sit, odds say that either BigBoom or the old rat (WT) are a Traitor. That's my word, naturally, but I know I'm an Investigator!

Also worth mentioning: a silent Investigator is as good as a dead Investigator. If BigBoom does not provide some kind of engagement by the end of today, nothing is lost. We have to whittle numbers somewhere if we're going to refine our suspect list.

There is something troubling me about this, though.

So I've been accused that I "voted" for Boo1268 earlier. I decided to make a wheel and vote for whoever it landed on. It just so happened that it landed on Boo out of all people, so I had to vote for him. I later removed my vote, but that's because everyone else was. Sorry Boo!

Now for BigBoom1946? They haven't done anything, and I agreed to vote for them.

Yeahhhh, unfortunately that's not a defense. Anyone can click spin on a wheel until it suits their interests, and then post that winning spin for everyone to see. This is a game of lying, and that's an easy lie.

I don't plan to hound you more for a Day 1 vote that went nowhere, but you can see what I mean.
