seriously it's hilarious as hell because it's always a 50/50 gamble on if they reasonably explain how something could be creepy/scary for the target audience or they overly exaggerate and pretend something that isn't even remotely scary when viewing it in context is actually the scariest shit ever.

In no universe is Bowser becoming Dry Bowser in the original New Soup even remotely 'nightmare fuel' but TV Tropes pretends that it's the scariest shit imaginable (complete with the cringe ass caption on the page image lmao).
