I'm Really Upset with Nintendo;

They had the chance to please Longtime Fans of Mario Baseball for the first time since the last one 17 years ago on the Wii in 2008;

And They Threw that Chance away; FOR YET ANOTHER TENNIS GAME;

I Don't know about any of you; but I'm SO SICK & TIRED of Mario Tennis;

There's been 4 Mario Tennis games released since the Last Mario Baseball game; Open for the 3DS, Ultra Smash for the Wii U, Aces for the Switch, and Now Fever for the NS2;

Please Just Give us More Baseball;

With Proper Baseball Uniforms like all the recent Mario Sports games where they're wearing Proper Uniforms for the Sports they're playing;

Heck; you could even Give Fitting Jersey Numbers for the Various Players; that could double as Easter Eggs; like either 1, 11, or even 25 for Mario(As either a Reference to Mario being #1, or to world 1-1 of Super Mario Bros; or to 25m from the VERY First Video game he was ever in; Donkey Kong) they could have either 2 or 83 for Luigi(Either his status as 2nd to Mario; or 83 as a reference to the year that the First game he was ever in debuted in; Mario Bros from 1983); or Bowser could be 84(as a Reference to World 8-4; the First Level HE actually appears in; instead of all the fakes from the Castle levels from Worlds 1-4 through 7-4); Princess Peach's number could be 85(the Year She makes her First Video game debut in; 1985)

But Nope; they just went with ANOTHER Tennis game I and many other people are already SO SICK of at this point;

So It's Clear They're Never giving us another Mario Baseball Game ever again. . .

Who says they won't do a new baseball game in the future? Camelot makes the golf and tennis games - they've never made any of the baseball games. Tennis getting a new game is completely irrelevant to this conversation because a new baseball wouldn't share the same developers to begin with.

I mean let's be honest here for a minute: baseball is not that popular of a sport worldwide. Its main regions of popularity are just the US, Canada, parts of Latin America, and parts of East Asia like Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea.

Hell, the second (and last) Mario baseball game wasn't even released outside of Japan and North America and the first one was released in Europe IIRC it wasn't actually localized in any non-English European languages. You just had the Japanese language release for Japan and then the English language release for everywhere else it came.

So putting aside the fact that that the company behind the Mario baseball games and the Mario Tennis games are two separate companies for a second here, why would Nintendo want to put development time into making a Mario sports game based on a sport that isn't that popular in most of the world?

Because Mario Tennis is SO Passe at this point in time;

aside from that Soccer game; Any Mario Sports game for the past 17 years was either Golf or Tennis; and I'm really sick of that Mario Tennis because it's been so Overdone for so long.

I kinda like tennis but... still I feel the same way >:C

Mario Tennis is my favorite Mario sport (with Mario Strikers second) so I'm just happy we're getting another this soon.

If you want to have a baseball, pester Bamco lol, leave Mario Tennis out of your spiel. You might catch them if they're not already busy developing Super Smash Bros.

Would absolutely pick this over all the sport games we had for NS1. But I assume Camelot is the one to dominate their subjects so they cannot change it.

The other concern is, not too sure whether the next Baseball game will keep all the popular characters from Sluggers?

I think the next Mario baseball game will keep the characters from Sluggers. I'd add Pauline, Rosalina, the Koopalings, Nabbit, and the Miis. I also hope Toadsworth would make his grand return.
