Best Mario game of 2024?

[The Pink Cat In The Hat]

With this year having quite a few, I decided to see what is considered the best one

[Sparks]

BROTHERSHIP!

[Super Jack Sunshine]

i'm not personally counting remakes, and from the remainder i've only played brothership

[Fanny]

Super Monkey Ball

[HyruleQueenKnight]

I think Thousand Year Door is the better game overall, but Brothership was the best *new* game this year.

[Nightwicked Bowser]

Brothership was the best original game, though I had the most fun with Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door.

[Technetium]

TTYD remake, Brothership for original (did not play enough of Jamboree, I need to get to that…)
I prefer TTYD over Brothership tho

[Marceline]

I'm answering TTYD since TTYD is my favourite game of all time and the remake is overall a fantastic remake and an upgrade over the original, despite some drawbacks, however both Brothership and Showtime are also great games indeed, and I might've said Brothership if I weren't so early on in my first playthrough. The others I never played and I very much doubt I'd enjoy them as much as I enjoy TTYD, Showtime, and Brothership, but they still look like very enjoyable games in their own right.

[Green Mage]

I said Brothership, but I still really enjoyed TTYD and Jamboree

[Dorayaki]

Brothership is indeed a great RPG. I hate to say it since I personally want it to focus on different protagonists, but still.

It's called "Mario & Luigi", who else is it going to focus on?
