What game did you last play?!?!?!?

New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

I and my brother are trying to collect all the star coins. We have them all up to almost the end of World 7.

anyway, I was actually talking about the sequel, but to answer:

-The premise is that you're a hypercompetent cop trying to rid some state of five gangs (The Mafia, mercenaries, jewel robbers, escaped convicts and the Yakuzas). Each gang has 6 missions, with the third one being a boss battle against the gang's lieutnant and the last one being a chase against the leader of the gang.

-For most of the game, you're riding cars (or motorcycles) chasing after the criminals. You can kill them by ramming their cars or shooting at them. If you're close enough, you can jump on an enemy car, kill its occupants and take control of it. Sometimes you have other objectives such as escorting other characters or driving to a specific point.

-There are also third-person shooters and helicopter rail shooters segments, neither of which are especially great, but they're short.

-It starts reasonably easy, but some of the later levels are really, really hard,

It's a very good game though a bit frustrating. The sequel is excellent.
 
Pokemon Gold

Man, I was an idiot when trying to figure out the Ecruteak Gym's puzzle. Even though the remakes are more difficult, that was one thing that was easier.

That game was way too easy. And yeah, the OST was pretty bland.

Sadly the metroidvanias are known for this(besides OoE).

So bleh. Don't think i can really continue playing this, ost is way too horrible for me to withstand it.


In other news, trying SM64ds.

Still can't get over how wonky the controls feel. Will probably continue regardless though.
