Here is a cropped screenshot from a Spongebob forum, that happens to use the same web design as mario boards! I thought the design was exactly the same until I came across this nifty celebratory box.
Sooo.. I think it would be cool to have here too, but ehh, what do y'all think?

It sounds like a cool idea on paper but it would probably have to be an opt-in thing if you didn't want people wishing happy birthday to users who haven't been active in years and definitely won't see it.

I think it just shows the birthdays of people that have been active in the past year

i can confirm the birthday thread already had enough issues with people wishing happy birthday based off the OP alone and posting for people who literally had not been around in a decade

i'm fine with this but there really needs to be some kind of activity clamp

especially cause some people might not want people telling them happy birthday

You can hide when your birthday is in your privacy settings.
