I heard that Shigeru Miyamoto himself actually said that a non spin-off crossover would be impossible, because the differences between the gameplay of Mario and Sonic are too great.

But I do agree with the idea of Mario in Sonic-ish levels and vice-versa. And to top it all off, have Mario fight Eggman, and Sonic fight Bowser.

But seeing as how Sonic was kinda based on Dragon Ball Z, don't count on it.

Me, SG27 and RR were in at the time, (I think) and a guest came on and said he was Tyson, creator of DBZ. (I think that was his name.)

So he sat idle for a bit, then asked if we had any Mario Tennis sounds. I didn't know, so I said check out our Mario Tennis page. A little while later, he left.
