Help me finish up the lyrics for the Super Mario Odyssey theme

Hello people! So I've been listening pretty closely now to the new Odyssey theme song that we all got to hear from the Nintendo Spotlight stream. English is not my native language so I have a pretty hard time making out some of the sentences. Perhaps we can make a collective effort to get these lyrics down early on?

I can't hear if she's singing fear or bear (as in bear with me)... Although fear is more likely given the context I guess?
 
i didnt listen closely to the song lyrics, but fear and bear don't sound alike in the slightest so it has to be clearly one or the other
 
^Perhaps not in the way you pronounce the words. I should also mention that the recordings I've found online thus far aren't exactly of the nicest quality.

Edit: All right I'm going to leave this unsolved for today. It's getting awfully late in this part of the world and I should get some sleep for tomorrow. These lyrics will be bugging me all night (but also in a nice sort-of way, as I'll be having this song stuck in my head).
 
Fair point I guess, though I'm not familiar with any accent that pronounces them the same.
To me, it sounds like "Don't fear to shed a tear, cuz I'll be your 1-Up girl"
 
[whatever the name is] makes me wonder why Nintendo never tried sung mario themes until now. It's great!
 
In general, I think this is kinda a new thing for cartoony video games. Every other children's media has done it, so I guess video games may follow suit.

I do like this song though, it's really nice. Makes me wonder if there will be any other sung songs for this game.
 
I like it, the Jazz kinda adds to the whole 1940s New York Donk City theme they're going for.

Mario is an Italian-American Plumber from New York City, Brooklyn after all. Before he found the Mushroom Kingdom while plumbing.

Well the Sonic-franchise has done it for years. :) It was pretty unheard of back in 1993 when Sonic CD first was released for the Mega-CD.

I love it! I'm all over jazz music and big band swing, so this theme really...

strikes a chord.
