What people on the Internet get on your nerves?

well by all means, bash on the HOMOPHOBIC heterosexuals. but, if you're going to bash someone for no reason, then?????? what are you honestly doing with yourselves. let everyone be free unless they are terrible people

honestly its even more then that, so many people are just trying to bash people because of some sort of group or another and instead of giving someone a chance, or maybe putting positive criticism on someone and helping them improve their flaws they instead just bash and bash and bash, and until that person is broken and then they laugh like people that dont agree with is some sort of plague.

I mean this doesnt even apply to sexuality preferences either, its gamers, its politicians, its boiling down to things people believe in and even.. things people cant change.

A lot of people today wonder why is the world so bad and whats wrong with it, and its so obvious. It's discrimination, its everywhere, and it seems alot of people want it to be that way too, i mean yeah you got some people that want more positivity in the world, but most people dont want to understand and rather be what they are rather then change.
Have you read the comments for any Internet news articles, Zae? Because I have, and I can tell you that you're absolutely right.

not really, not often, but ive seen it in communities and in real life. You stay in a mental facility for a week and it will REAAALY open your eyes to the world, sadly ive just not used my knowledge for posititivy for a long time, but i can use it now, so maybe one day those people that had seizures from forced meth or someone that got abandoned by their families for having suicidal urges, will have some peace knowing that some people here, me, and others actually give a shit and will listen to them for once.

People holding their phones vertically when they film.

Kids who just lip-sync(note even sing) and make movements(not even skilled ones) to music(sometimes garbage at that) on vine and musically and somehow get their own fucking tours where they just perform other peoples' stuff, not give a shit about their fans, and do more talent-less lip-syncing videos like the kid being talked about in this video:
I also don't like stupid fan-boys or fan-girls.

Also, the people who have unpopular opinions just for the sake of having unpopular opinions really annoy me.

the only guys who mastered the art of lipsyncing are these guys anyways

Wow, our posts were less than ten seconds away from each other.

SJW's. And people who try to appear intelligent when it's clear they don't know shit about what they're talking.
this for me too

I also really don't like those 12-year-olds who try to seem super edgy by swearing in every sentence and being racist

I agree, but who are some examples?

I don't like using the words "SJW" to describe people who are offended at every little freaking thing (like the guys who complained about Mario Kart 8's racial diversity or the zombies in Left 4 Dead 2), it's been bastardized beyond belief, to use to describe "guy I don't agree with".

I hope you realize that answering that question would arguably be against the rules. Just calling that into awareness.

On the same note I am not very fond of this topic's premise in general. It gives off this vibe of shit-talking people without having to directly confront them, and being all " ;)" and "you know who I'm talking about" while doing it.

Strikes me as not really in good spirit, the whole thing.

Don't insinuate tension like that. You've got something to say to someone, be civil and honest and then say it.
^that, as a addition to Edo's post.

I agree and also advise caution against unironically using "SJW". That trite label is abused beyond belief to the point of meaninglessness (and it's usually a boogeyman for dismissal of criticism so it's an anti-intellectual label too).

No it means you don't know how to use Google
Just to be fair, I wouldn't search "nsfw" on Google anyway, just as how I wouldn't search any terms (like angrydragon) that are banned in Miiverse on the Internet; it's out of fear.

But Miiverse bans a lot of words that are completely fine

I wasn't talking about anyone in this community but rather people I know irl who can't even be bothered to fact check before sharing an article.

I think the SJW still carries meaning. Sure, people will use it indiscriminately at times but that doesn't mean there aren't other people who perfectly match the original meaning of SJW. People who just take the "social justice" side of things without even caring to fact check and who don't even want to listen to opinions contrary to theirs. I mean, you can believe whatever the hell you want, I frankly don't care, but don't just go around dismissing opinions with "omfg you're a fucking <insert any adjective>".

OH, and let's not forget couch activists who keep sharing "The Government Doesn't Want You To Know This Secret Cure For Cancer (And We Capitalize Every Word)" articles.

Well, find something else to criticize them. Me, people who do use the SJW label unironically drives a red flag for me and gets me suspicious of the merits of the argument, more often than not. "SJW" is no better than any other meaningless snarl word like "socialist", "apologist", "communist", "Marxist", etc. While there are people that get so touchy over essentially nothing, and they annoy me to no end (I mean people who get all hissy over "picnic", the usage of "niggardly", Spanish people using the word "negro", the whole Shufflegate thing, and so many others) and they're the reason the "SJW" term exists, I see other crazy insane sites use this term so often and people like some GameFAQs posters use it to refer to people they disagree with, it tortures the word to meaninglessness. Finally, there's the flipside: people who use SJW term unironically more often than not DO use it to dismiss opinions they disagree with, too, so it goes both ways.

Huh, I haven't personally met those kinds of couch activists, but they're pretty insane to me.

Yeah, it's all about being coherent and not using any of those terms to dismiss an argument. The best way to dismiss an argument is to actually give a counterargument.
