Favorite/least favorite cover songs

Sometimes songs are sung by more than one person. What are your favorite/least favorite?

To start, I'll name a cover song I like more than the original, less than the original, and the same as the original.

Less than:
Now I like Metallica, and I like Bob Seger, but Metallica's cover of Seger's "Turn The Page" does not do it at all for me.

Same as:
I think it's pretty unfair to compare both versions of "Hurt". Cash made it his own thing and it was amazing, but Nine Inch Nails' version is also great.

More than:
Haven't heard this one much, but I prefer Disturbed's version of "Land of Confusion" over the original from Genesis.

KC and the Sunshine Band's cover of It's the Same Old Song originally by Wild Cherry is something I like

I also like Joan Jett and the Blackheart's cover of Everyday People originally by Sly & the Family Stone

Springsteen's cover of Trapped by Jimmy Cliff is really good. Heard it live in Atlanta and it was great.
speaking of springsteen i think we can all agree manfred mann's cover of his song blinded by the light is superior

wrapped up like a douche another runner in the night

I like the cover version of "I Need a Hero" that was used in Shrek 2. I forget the artist's name, but I actually prefer it over the original version.

If you're talking about the version in the credits, that's Imogen Heap singing with her group Frou Frou.

I actually think the Art of Noise f. Tom Jones version of Prince's Kiss is better.

Phil Collins' version of You Can't Hurry Love, originally done in 1967 by the Temptations, is better than the original too.

There was this one version of You Might Think, originally done by The Cars, that a lady did solo, and it was terrible compared to the original.

I was thinking the Jennifer Saunders version, I believe?

I like Maynard Ferguson's cover version of Earth Wind & Fire's Fantasy

Oh, yeah. She does a good job.

I just like Maynard Ferguson's covers in general. One of my favorites is his Baker Street version. I also really like his Birdland cover versions.

Also bump.
