You know I debated doing some long winded post about pretty much all the games of the Mario series and what I think of them. So I guess I'm doing this.
SMB: You literally cannot hate it. It has done so much for the video game industry that by saying you don't like it makes you not a gamer in my book. No matter what genre or games you like.
SMB2: We need more games like these. Like really, even though it was a reskin of a different game, it was pretty creative and if there was ever a Mario game that is basically SMB2 2, I would be all for that. Plus introduction of Birdo

SMMB3: This is pretty much the origins of modern 2D Mario. So many staple aspects of this that is so neat. Although a lot of the aspects it's now being run into the ground, but this is still cool. Plus Tanooki is the best power in the franchise.
SMW: This is my favorite Mario platformer. Highly nostalgic since it is the game that got me into gaming. So I'm biased in saying that literally everything is the superior Mario platformer.
SM64(DS): The DS version imo is superior. I mean, where else can you play as Yoshi, Luigi, and Wario besides spinoffs? No where. It's gr8. Besides that, SM64 is super fun. It's really creative and extremely well done. Too bad it's the only 3D mario game I like.
Super Mario Sunshine: *sigh* This is probably....my second least favorite main Mario game I played. I usually enjoy "black sheep" of series, but nothing really works in this game for me. I don't like a great majority of the mechanics. The coin collecting levels (especially those godawful blue coins) are insanely annoying, i dont really like any of the bosses, none of the worlds were interesting, and worst of all, it introduced my least favorite character in the Mario franchise: Bowser Jr.
SMG: Galaxy is ok. Yeah just ok. I enjoyed it a little but nothing it did made me go "wow this is amazing/great/fantastic/enjoyable/extremely fun" unlike most of the previous games I mentioned. I never really liked Rosalina in the first place and my enjoyment of her has only decreased heavily.
SMG2: Rip-off DLC bore-fest. Doesn't even have a good hub-world as SMG. Stupid. It's my third least favorite Mario game of main franchise
NSMB: Behold! My least favorite Mario game of the main franchise. Pretty much what this is, take SMB3, make everythiing stupid, take away the Koopalings, and add Bowser Jr. .......Yeah I don't like ANYTHING about this game.
NSMBW: Wow this a drastic improvement from NSMB. It kind of does the same things, only I think it executes them better, plus Koopalings!!!!!! i probably wouldn't have liked this as much, but playing multiplayer with my siblings was so fun and created so much memories. It was almost nostalgic.
Other NSMB, SM3DL, and SM3DW: Haven't played but I probably wouldn't even like them anyways.
SMRPG: I played this a couple of years back and I had such a blast with it. Is literally everything outdate: yes. Do I care: fudge no. For the time and the technology, I think this game was a really big success and I had so much fun playing it.
PM64: Introduction to the Paper Mario series. Really weird concept in hindsight, but it works, and it works well. This game is solid, but not as solid as...
PM:TTYD: Do I need to say why I like this game. Not really. Everyone knows already. And if you don't
what are you doing reading this????? Play iiittttttt
SPM: And coming from TTYD comes my second least favorite Mario "rpg". Quoting rpg because it's like a platformer rpg but the only rpg aspect is leveling up and maybe holding items. Suffice to say I am extremely disappointed in gameplay and the story, essentially, is not even that good for how people claim they say it is. I felt this game kind of a letdown.
Sticker Star: I haven't played it, but that Birdo tho.
M&L:SS: This game, like SMW, was a milestone for me. It was the game that got me into my favorite genre o
