Ideas for new Mario Kart tracks

Magikrazy

Donkey Kong
Do any of you have ideas for new tracks to put in Mario Kart?

Well, you can't put them in Mario Kart, so put them here instead.

I think there should be a Metal Circuit.

Like, a regular circuit with a metallic theme.

Have a track where you drive through a bustling metropolis at night, like a city based off Las Vegas or Broadway or something. You start in a freeway, drive through a city in a layout like Yoshi Valley with many hidden shortcuts and alternate routes, and you go back in a freeway.

Maybe make the metropolis made out of ice as well.

What about one where you start in front of an NES. You drive inside the cartridge slot and through several NES games.

It could work with other consoles too.

Hell, we need a race-track that takes inside a typical computer: you drive across the circuit board, around the motherboard, and avoid the cooling fan.

A 1-lap track where you glide down a huge mountain with lots of air boosts. It would start out on a cliff, leading to a huge ramp that has the gliding pad. The first section would have few obstacles, with hang-gliding Toads that throw coins. The second section would have falling boulders, and the third would have huge rock formations that you had to dodge. Throughout the course, there would be several points where you could touch down briefly for a speed boost, including anti-gravity spots on the side of rock formations in the third section.

Totally making that course when we can make MK8 tracks.

A 1-lap track that isn't necessarily a Rainbow Road, but more has a Mario Galaxy thing going on, where parts of the track is designed after planets from Super Mario Galaxy, with them being joined by glider ramps, with the final section being racing around the Comet Observatory. So the track can have sections where the racers drive around a spherical planet, drive from one end of a cylindrical planet to the other on any part of the exterior and other such kinds of terrain.

In fact I'm willing to bet that the final DLC track for MK8 will actually be something like this, or at least have something to do with the Galaxy games since I doubt they will add another new or retro Rainbow Road.

I've always thought some locations from M&L:PiT would work, like Thwomp Volcano.

I'd take anything based off an RPG at this point.

I always had this idea of taking all the courses in the game and mashing them into one giant loop or just a start to end track. A galaxy idea would really cool since there hasn't been a true SMG styled course.

One I have always been waiting for was a Freezeflame track. Parts of the ice would be melting and after a set amount of time branching paths would completely melt leaving one path open.

I would like a Bowser Jr. themed track. It could be a fortress or and there would be cannons launching paint that would have the effect of a Blooper only rainbow coloured. There would also be other things like Dry Bones, Thwomps, and lava. The only problem is that it would be similar to a Bowser's Castle or Airship Fortress.

Here are my ideas for 20 new tracks for Mario Kart. All of them will have 3 laps.

Luigi's Casino: A track going though a casino owned by Luigi, which you have to avoid falling chips on the ground.

Baby Playground: A track going on through a playground near a school.

Toadette Resort: A new track owned by Toadette. Players start driving on the road before going through a car park and then driving on the sand and then back onto the road again. Players must avoid traffic, Crabs, Cheep Cheeps, Cataquacks and Parasols.

Choco Lake: Very similar to Sweet Sweet Canyon from Mario Kart 8 except, it is filled with chocolate.

Peach's Castle: A track going through different rooms of Peach's Castle which is of course owned by Peach.

DK's Jungle Ruins: A new Jungle themed track owned by Donkey Kong, which you have to avoid Tiki Goons, Frogoons, Screaming Pillars and Klaptraps. This track also features DK Barrels.

Wiggler Forest: A new track set in a green forest owned by Wiggler, which you have to avoid Giant Wigglers but you can go though green leaf piles to reveal a Banana, a Mushroom or a Star.

Grassy Plains: A track based on the grassy levels from Super Mario 3D World.

Wario Factory: A track going through a factory owned by Wario. This track is very similar to Mario Kart Wii's Toad Factory except the factory is large.

Shy Guy Ski Resort: A new iced themed track owned by Shy Guy which you have to avoid Penguins, Freezies and lots of Snowmen.

Kamek's Library: A track going through a library owned by Kamek based on Mario Party DS.

Mario's Classic Route: A track based on the game Super Mario Bros and it is of course owned by Mario. Players must avoid 8 bit enemies.

Koopa Pyramid: A new desert themed track owned by Koopa Troopa and also going through a large pyramid. Players must avoid Pokeys, falling pillars and Swoopers.

Waluigi Studios: A track going through a film studio owned by Waluigi.

Jr. Airship: A track based on the airship stages on Mario Kart Arcade GP DX owned by Bowser Jr.

Daisy Arena: A track based on the Waluigi Stadiums although it is now owned by Daisy.

Yoshi's Theme Park: A new theme park track owned by Yoshi based on Mario Super Sluggers.

Star City: A new traffic themed track set in a city filled with traffic, bob-omb cars. It has a lot of features like street lights, toll booths, traffic lights and road signs along with a service station on a busy highway.

Bowser's Castle 2: A second Bowser's Castle track owned by Bowser, which players have to avoid Thwomps, Gray Bowser Statues that shoot leasers, firebars and ball 'n' chains. Players also race though different rooms of Bowser's Castle.

Rosalina's Galaxy Circuit: A new Galaxy themed track owned by Rosalina. Players race through different Galaxies based on the Super Mario Galaxy games.

What do you think of my new track ideas for Mario Kart? Please let me know.

Since the introduction of Anti-Gravity I always thought the Whoa Zone would make a neat location for a track. I also would like to see either Peach's or Bowser's castle while under Fawful's control from M&L: BIS. And the next Wario course should be a bank of some sort, I think. Rogueport would be a neat location to use, it could be a drive through town similar to the Delfino track in MKDS.

I'd like there to be a Yoshi's Island themed track with Yoshi's in the audience and Magikoopa's flying around the course.

Sky Circuit:

The track is shaped like a 0. On one end, it is a complete straightaway. On the other, on the very beginning, there is a ramp to take you into an Anti-Gravity section that ends after a bit where there is a glider ramp. You must glide across a maze in that area of the track until you reach the other side. In case you fall, there is another Anti-gravity section below you here you must drive back up that steep slope to get up to where the gliding section was supposed to end. There is a small upwards current of air in that section to create more of an ability of free movement where you can ascend and descend as you wish.

1.A Subcon-based racing track.
2. A bowser shaped track, it must be too long and hard to be true.
3. A Dinosaur Island race track with yoshis and Rexes looking at the racers

I have an entire Mario Kart game idea all planned out. The word doc is so old it's from 2007. :P

I've actually updated them recently, but the tracks have stayed the same for the most part. Some ideas I had were..

Yoshi's Overlook - Take's place on an island and towards the end of the track is this rock formation that is shaped like Yoshi and the racers exit through a cave in the head. It leads to the rocky "tongue" shooting out which gives a nice glimpse of the entire course.

Blooper Galleon - This course is on this ship where only the deck (start/finish line) is above water (though it is covered in it). You drive through the ship's interior that is completely submerged and there are all sorts of obstacles to pass.

Neon Labryinth - A course similar to Yoshi's Valley in terms of which path you want to take. The stage will be rather dark, with the neon roads and signs lighting most of the way.

Bowser Jr suits the more Neon City street club theme, not the castle or airship.

Neon Electrodrome Pinball City Volcano Fortress

Make it happen Nintendo.

How about one where you're shrunk down at the beginning of the race, you're normal in lap 2, and giant during the last lap?

I'd like a Haunted House. In the first lap, it's sunset, so there's no activity in the house. In the second lap, it's night, and the house is active and more dangerous. In the third lap, it's dawn, and the house has resumed being inactive.

How about a track where the racers are shrunken down, and they're racing around the floor of some kid's bedroom like Hot Wheels cars?
