bah, that riddle always annoys me at how it's like "ooh so philosophical much mystery"

if a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? yes it does. it still creates sound waves, just no one can hear them, is all. it's why i hate that riddle, so easily answerable, yet no one ever accepts it to be so.
