A: Amazing.
While it's not perfect, I do believe it is the best Mario Kart yet.
And Crackin, I disagree with the MKTV thing. I do think it's a cool and fun feature to use. You may not have as much control over it as you might want, but at least they are giving us the option to share these videos on youtube and miiverse and stuff! You have your best race ever, and before you could only tell people it or record the screen while you race with another camera, and now you get that. Or maybe you just wanted to focus on a certain part, and now - for the most part - you can. Can you improve it? Of course you can, but maybe for the next Mario Kart will they improve it. I think that this new feature is definitely worth while.
And I definitely find the courses all fun and vigorating. Star Cup as always is my fav, Special Cup is awesome too but sometimes the AI difficulty makes it annoying, and the rest are great as well. It's also the first Mario Kart game where I don't feel like the Retros are that boring, and have the best replay value on them. Heck, it's hard to remember what the originals looked like, especially Wario Stadium's, so it feels like they are brand new tracks for the most part.
While I do hate the coin item, I do have to admit that the item system is probably the most balanced this time around. I definitely am having more difficulty staying in first with it, and it does make me angry, but at least it's fun knowing that it's a close race rather than in Mario Kart 7 and Mario Kart Wii where I spend most of the race way out in first. I do wish that some of the courses didn't make it to where you have to rely on the luck of the item to win you the race, and I still hate the fact that it's always on the 3rd lap towards the end where everything seems to bombard you.
