I will unlock Iggy straight away and then use him for the Retro Cups. Yoshi will be used for the new cups. Pink Gold Peach for online obviously

The same character I main in every Mario game, Waluigi! :waluigi: Making his triumphant return after he was so cruelly and idiotically kept from appearing in Mario Kart 7, I'm thoroughly ready to welcome him home with open arms. That's not to say I'm not also excited to try out some of the many glorious newcomers in this game, I will definitely be giving the Koopalings and Baby Rosalina a try. :rosalina: But when it all comes down to it, I could never betray Waluigi as my main. Ever. Playing Mario Kart 7 to me was like a ghastly reminder of all that is wicked and evil in this world. Every single time I booted up the game I felt like Satoru Iwata himself had pissed in my cereal that very morning.

Fortunately this parade of misery and horror is soon to end and Mario Kart will be returning to it's former beWaluigied glory. I look forward to entering a new era of prosperity and good times for all.

Mario Kart Wii I mained Koopa Troopa, MK7 was Shy Guy, so probably one of those.

I think I'll do a bunch of time trials though to see who's the best.

I might have a look and decide. I usually prefer to just see what stats suit me best when I go through the selection screen. I'm too lazy to do the calculations and find my 'perfect' combo. Especially since I haven't played it so I can't judge what I want the most.

I just played on the demo, and really liked Sport Bike/Roller, so I just found a good character to match it. Good thing I love Roy. Also, with reskins I can do any combonation with:

DK/Waluigi/Rosalina/Roy
Sport Bike/Comet/Jet Bike/Yoshi Bike
Roller/Azure Roller/Button
Cloud Glider/Peach Parasol/Parachute/Parafoil/Bowser Kite/MKTV Parafoil

That's 288 possible combinations with the same stats!
