It IS fun! They can never go back to the formula of the first 8 games. This one did something different and made it a race to the finish. At least they didn't keep all the players on the same space like last time. It is interesting and exciting and it has great mini-games.
 
well ive not played the game but it looks insanely boring.
 
"Race to the finish" is a boring and, until recently as far as I know, overused game mechanic.

Overused? No! Its brand new! At least I have never played one like this so its new to me!
 
It's new yes but the execution is abysmal. I entirely prefer the older games.
 
Well, most people think it just sucks, but that's not true.

You play each board once, and it's pretty good, but after that is when you think it sucks.
 
I played it for like 30 minutes, and honestly, I thought it wasn't only the worst Mario Party game but also the worst overall Mario series game.

Like DS was great, but this.
 
well from the sounds of the main problem is how the boards are operated as a whole, that was mario party 9 and its in this game as well.

Which sucks because i actually like the party board style in previous games, but this game as well as 9 just seems to destroy that idea altogether.

Personally though, MP9 makes up for it because the minigames were good.

But there wasn't even ONE minigame I liked in this one. Not one.
 
I don't really like the mario party games because they are soley based on multiplayer. and have no people who will play with me.

i have no people to play with too but i still like them

especially 2-5.
