Baby and Adult Enemy Connections?

Ever see two or more enemies from the Mario series that you think might be baby or adult forms of other enemies?

For example, in Super Mario 3D World there's a new enemy called Madpoles seen here:

They seem to resemble Kleptoads from Super Mario Galaxy 2.

Both are rather rare enemies who are blue with yellowish bellies. Their eyes are very similar too.

Have you guys seen some enemies that made you think the same thing? Obviously there are enemies already confirmed to being the baby stage of enemies like Nipper Plants being the babies of Piranha Plants. But let's discuss the less obvious ones.

One day, Luigi ordered pizza. Thinking that he ordered for him, Baby Luigi ate all of the four cheese goodness. Luigi got mad, and both became enemies (Luigi has a disadvantage for having that wacky mustache on his face).

How about Squigglers and Wigglers? You know, those miniature caterpillar things in New Super Mario Bros.? They kinda look like baby Wigglers.

They look like mere smaller versions rather than baby counterparts, though.

Look, just because a character is mini doesn't mean it's a baby.

Does This look ANYTHING like THAT

Hey, when you were little, you thought small versions of characters are the baby versions, so don't act like that's dumb.

Am I little now? Are these people here little here too?

My point is that you can't act like a smartass if you did this before, too.

Because obviously we're all still young and naive here

Whoa guys geez, take it easy! I'm probably going to side with Baby Luigi on this one... for once. Smaller version of things don't really mean baby. However Micro-Goomba's do look different in the Mario Galaxy games look: http://www.mariowiki.com/Micro-Goomba And Paragoombas have them like a Blooper Nanny would. Hm... Oh and in Mario RPG, the Goomba shop keeper's infant nephews look like Micro-Goombas: http://www.mariowiki.com/Triplets

I always thought that the infant form of a Goomba was the Prickly Goomba. Yeah from New Super Mario Bros. Wii. Like they start their lives inside a nut shell and hatch when they drop from trees. But that's just a theory.

Anyway, Swigglers are most likely baby Wigglers. That's for sure.

How could we be such an idiot to forget those?

I'm not an idiot, I just think of nothing but Baby Luigi

What about Thwimps being baby Thwomps? But then again, that sounds silly, considering stone can't reproduce... but who knows in a land of floating blocks and flowers that shoot fire?
