Really liked that Direct. A lot of cool new info (though i'm not really so pumped for the new characters.) Plus, we can get the 3DS version as early as this summer (hopefully!) Fun fun fun.

Wow this direct really wasn't what I quite expected. I don't think that's a bad thing. But wow.

I'm excited for Smash Run & CUSTOM MOVESETS. That was an idea I had long before we knew much about Smash 4

Charizard & Greninja leaves me a bit scared about Mewtwo's chances though. I don't see Pokemon getting six spots on the character roster. And unless Jigglypuff is gone, I just can't see the game having six pokemon on the roster. (I know Pokemon trainer technially made it 6 in Brawl. But it was still 3 in one roster slot)

I loved the new final smashes as well.

Pit's was exactly how I wanted it, and Kirby's definitely looks improved.

Shhhh...you have Lucario. That is all that matters.

Besides, Greninja and Charizard are really good fighters to have, since they are very popular. Though I think Mewtwo is out.

Also, I love how he basically said "Ridley confirmed...as a boss". Time to drink Ridley fan's tears.

My thoughts:

New items:
*Pow Block: interesting
*Firebar: So....a Beam Sword reskin that runs out?
*Back Shield: interesting
*Bombchu: Don't get me started on the inclusion of another Zelda item.
*Rocket Belt: Seems really broken, especially for someone with good recovery.

New assist trophies:
*Skull Kid: I don't know what to say, but I was disappointed it didn't involve the moon somehow.
*Mother Brain looks neat
*OH MY FUCKING GOD MIDNA THAT'S AMAZING
*DARK SAMUS TOO HOLY FUCK ANOTHER AMAZING ONE
*Chain Chomp seems like it'll get annoying on small stages
*Isabelle: Probably the only beneficial assist trophy lol

Character changes:
>mfw Olimar gets nerfed
*Finally Kirby gets a great Final Smash (I expected him to get this one, honestly)
*Dedede got a nice buff with Gordos only

Greninja is an amazing addition.

Smash Run looks great and it convinced me to get the 3DS version. Now to find a way to save up the money......
