I would ditch Vanessa as she's a very weak unit and Tana is a lot stronger.

If Amelia is still a recruit I would recommend removing her instead and train her in the tower.
 
So my least fave FE title.

For one, way too easy IMO. At least it doesn't overwhelm the player like the SNES titles do...

One aspect I did like was Summoner.

...Haven't played Sacred Stones in some time so my opinion could change.

A lot of the chapters were quite easy.

You wait until you play chap15.

Duessel, Level 11 Great Knight
Seth, Level 4 Paladin
Rennac, Level 4 Rogue
Innes, Level 5 Sniper
Myrrh, Level 3 Manakete
Gilliam, Level 3 General
Amelia, Level 1 General

Rarely/Never use:
Saleh, Level 2 Sage
Natasha, Level 4 Cleric (stopped using)
Tethys, Level 1 Dancer (never bother to use)

Dozla, Level 1 Berserker
Knoll, Level 2 Summoner (only promoted to kill Tigereye)

Seth was my best unit along with Erika,Joshua and Saleh on my playthrough.

i had a bunch of bests, pretty much my entire team were just killing machines.

Then again FE8 is easily the easiest of the FE games.
 
I think Awakening is easier :/
or maybe its the fact that I was less experianced with the series when I first played sacred stones.

Joshua dying was a very bad thing.

Awakening is easier, but that's only because you get to keep your units after they lose all their health in battle
