okay i have a question

this thread is now 160 pages long and we barely know anything about the game

are all 160 pages just discussing the roster?

I'm not questioning it, like, at all. I've lurked on the boards for the Super Smash Bros. game in GameFAQs and it had like, 50 pages of topics before the game is even, like, shown off.

There's much to talk about for Mario Kart 8, in my opinion. The large majority consists of speculation and what people expect, not just rosters. But the discussion is up after the needed directs and the info drought. We love multiplayer games. So much re-playability and excitement.

We know 24 characters, 12 nitro tracks, 7 retro tracks, anti-gravity, customization, a ton of customization parts, tricks, bikes, gliding, underwater, buggies, and we barely know anything?

Man i'm hyped for this game. Recently i've been playing MK7 a ton to get all the gold parts before it comes out. I'm at about 7500-8000 coins, and i'm pretty sure the value needed for them goes down if you unlock parts with streetpass, because I got the Beast Glider at around 4000 instead of 5000.

I wonder why in the handheld games the tracks seem smaller compared to the drivers but in the console games the tracks seem huge compared to the drivers.

I thought Mario Circuit 2 from Mario Kart 7 felt huge.
