i don't see how that deconfirms diddy kong. the screen shows all the characters who had been officially revealed at the time that demo thing/test version/whatever was sent out, i'm pretty sure. diddy kong wasn't officially confirmed then (and still isn't now), but that page of that magazine still provides good reason to believe he's going to be in the game.

He's not necessarily deconfirmed, just unconfirmed at the moment. Even without the Spanish magazine, I'm expecting him to be in this installment anyway

Well in MKW, it started out as a seemingly small roster, then when you unlocked more, more spaces were used, so many something like that?

Well, 36 seems excessive...

Of course, then would should expect king boo, birdo, diddy, bowser jr, funky kong, dry bowser, (maybe hq though her not being introduced with the other MK7 racers...)

So then that would be 32-33, leaving 3 spots. Maybe a return of Petey and/or ROB. And maybe some newcomers still. I still wouldn't mind hammer bro.

But I'm still thinking only 30 racers, not including miis if they do it.

36 sounds good.

We currently know 27. If we bring back Birdo, Bowser Jr, Diddy Kong, Dry Bones, King Boo, Funky Kong, Dry Bowser, Wiggler, and Honey Queen, we will have 36.

Bowser JR, Diddy Kong, and Birdo are the only ones that we can say with reasonable certainty. I deem it more likely that we will get Dixie Kong that the rest of the characters on the list.

I was more thinking Dry Bowser over Birdo, but that's probably wishful thinking, even with the Dry Bowser reference for one of the courses.

I really don't think Wiggler or Honey Queen are gonna be back. Same thing with Funky, but at least with him he's fresh in everyone's minds from Tropical Freeze, but I still doubt he'll make it in.

Also, we all know the Miis are gonna be back.

Why are Miis so hated? Like sure, I know some Miis can look ugly, but I always found the miis to be a cool concept and I hope they or at least something similar becomes a standard for Nintendo's consoles, even if they drop the Wii brand eventually.

Also, as for people playing as Mii's online, I don't see what is wrong with that. The main reason why the Miis exist is so people can play as a cartoony version of themselves or somebody else, and I am pretty sure they are playing as a mii for that sole reason.

Whether you like it or not, Mii resolves ridiculous requests for characters such as Miley Cyrus.

To be honest, Mii is an underutilized character and needs to appear in more games. That's why I am hoping for it in Smash, and for everyone who disagrees, would you rather Mii or people asking for Goku and crap.
