Re: Pirates of the Caribean 5 announced

I like the first 3 but never saw the fourth. Apparently it wasn't that great either so I wonder if this will be any good, but guess we'll see.

Re: Pirates of the Caribean 5 announced

Soounds good. I hope it actually has the original characters in it though unlike the last one.

Re: Pirates of the Caribean 5 announced

i don't think will or elizabeth will return, but i hope that pintel, ragetti, cotton, cotton's parrot, all those guys return

Re: Pirates of the Caribean 5 announced

Did we really need another one?

I wonder if the people making this realize that, by producing sequel after pointless sequel, they slowly turn what was once widely loved into a franchise zombie nobody cares about.

Just like Star Wars?

Re: Pirates of the Caribean 5 announced

No, because Star Wars is still well-liked, even if the prequels aren't. And people care about the new Star Wars movies, even if they're not sure it's a good idea.

Re: Pirates of the Carribean 5 announced

Well, if anything, Star Wars is worse than PotC, because it's sprawled into a ton of spin-offs whereas PotC is just a movie series.
