Pokemon X and Pokemon Y

So can people stop calling Fennekin and her evolutions a "he" now?

i don't know why. it's pretty sexist and also biologically illogical*, but every starter species works that way

Pokemon has always been sexist. Male pokemon have potential to have better IVs (in old gens), female pokemon always get smaller weapons as if the female is the "weaker" gender, and people refer to Pokemon as male unless it's blatantly female-looking.

Oh, and starters are usually male, which is something I'll never get.
