This thread is a total wreck!

I think you mean you can't rush perfection. That is what this LP is after all.

You can't rush art.

Oh my god, I somehow made Walkazo post in my thread. It must be an omen.

I must invest all my efforts into finding out whether it is a good omen or a bad omen. Therefore, the LP is postponed for three hundred years.

you're the seer, shouldn't you know?

Seer of Heart, not Seer of Omens.

my thread also got a legendary walkazo reply

actually that reminds me i need to get to work on that

Which reminds me, I am going to upload the sprites you need once the chapter is released (I still need to finish one of them).

T.T

See, now this is why I don't post.

Well, that's too bad. This is the part of the forums where you need a train to move around between threads, and since the only two engineers around have totaled theirs, you have no choice but to stay!

Ok, so let's try this once more. This time without going insane halfway through.

0454.png

*grumble grumble*

0455.png

One unnecessary tutorial fight later.

0456.png

Wait...

Oh my goddess, she is praising me. So this is what this feels like?

It's beautiful. I hope it will never stop.

0457.png

Noooo! ._.

0458.png

This is all your fault somehow, Mr. Back Door Guard!

0459.png

He noticed my crabby mood and the fact that I have a sword, so he went quiet and quickly hurried out of the way.

I may not be able to harm them, but as long as I can make them fear me... hee hee hee.

0460.png

Speaking of harm, this is the area behind the castle, and there is some tasty sword fodder already.

0461.png

Since it is obscured by the little name box, I'm sure I can get away with being as gruesome as I want! How delightful!

0462.png

Finally I have found a practical use for years of pent-up frustration!

0463.png

What's this?

0464.png

I don't care what it is. Soon it won't be very recognizable anymore anyway.

0465.png

This feels a lot better than it should.

0478.png

Oh, yeah, sure. Now you're talking down to me, but a minute ago you were all curled up and rocking back and forth.

0479.png

You understood me, pal.

0466.png

Yeah, he quickly changed the subject. I guess he realizes I'm not one to yield to types like him.

0467.png

Sure.

0468.png

Have fun with those recovery hearts.

0469.png

Oooooooooooh! It's bulbous and round and blue. O___O

...

It must be a giant plum!

0470.png

It's smoking...

Maybe this is a self-roasting plum? Do these exist?

Ah, who cares! I'm going to have a feast!

Oahohohoho...

0471.png

Zelda, why aren't you laughing with me? You're ruining my vibe he-- wait.

What?

0472.png

Oh my... owwwww! All over my face!!

Rraaaaaaaaah!!!

0473.png

You will pay for this entirely self-inflicted accident, innocent wildlife!!!

0474.png

Stupid self-roasting plums! You will not be so smug once you're all splattered against the wall!

0475.png

What...

Damnit! It bounced off! I can't even vent my aggressions with you properly! How useless are y--

0476.png

...huh.

Ok, I heard that prunes were useful for clearing blockages, but I never knew it was meant so literally.

0477.png

The hole looks like it was painted to the wall, but that shall not stop us! Onwards, to glory!

0480.png

And here we are, inside the aptly named tunnel to the tower.

For a place where sunlight doesn't reach, this cave is surprisingly well lit.

0481.png

What... but... YOU SUGGESTED COMING HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!

0482.png

Fine, I'll just ask some of the locals for directions. This bat-like creature seems good enough.

Excuse me, Mr. Batty?

0483.png

He bit me. Either I am struggling with understanding these foreign customs, or this bat is not of the friendly variety.

I assume it is the former, because jumping to conclusions is bad.

0484.png

As a friendly gesture, I offer him a display of Aboda Village customs.

0485.png

It doesn't seem to sit well with the others though. It is slowly dawning on me that I might have rolled into a bad neighborhood.

0486.png

That was a nice and fulfilling cultural exchange.

0487.png

Also note that there is a door with a comically huge keyhole over there...

0488.png

...next to a switch and a door. Standing on the switch opens the door, but not for long enough to actually walk through it.

0489.png

Luckily, there is a heavy block here, perfect for weighting down switches. What a coincidence.

It's actually not a coincidence. Hyrulean law dictates that for every switch there has to be at least one suitable object to weight it down somewhere in the immediate vicinity. Failure to comply will get you arrested by the guards. If no one responsible can be found, they just arrest someone at random. Most of the time, it is me.

0490.png

You should take this advice and push it somewhere else! Like where the sun doesn't shine!

0491.png

But as we established earlier, the sun doesn't shine in this cave either, so the advice is already in the right place.

Guess we have no choice but to push this block.

0492.png

Of course I have to stop every now and then to change direction.

0493.png

I heard that there is some guy who can just push blocks in any direction regardless of where he is grabbing them. I think he is a prince or something.

0494.png

I envy that guy. It makes block-pushing much less tedious.

0495.png

The door opens and reveals a chest. What is in it? More rupees?

0496.png

Why no, it is the key for the big door thing. That is much better than rupees, actually. I mean, who likes finding rupees in chests anyway? Usually you hope it's a Piece of Heart, or a fancy new item. Rupees just make you feel like you got cheated out of something much better.

0497.png

You know, I wonder why this door is locked anyway? I mean, blocking a tunnel that leads straight from the tower to the castle serves no strategical purpose, and it just inconveniences everyone. Now the only way to travel between those two points is to take the train, which pretty much puts everyone at the mercy of... the royal... engineers.

...

0498.png

It all makes sense now. Alfonzo must be behind this.

0499.png

Anyway! New floor, new challenges!

0500.png

New cryptic advice!

0501.png

There are some poor saps who can't jump trenches like this. They need to find a feather in order to do it. Must be a confidence thing.

I am glad I am so progressive. I don't have to bother with this nonsense.

0503.png

This appears to be part of a puzzle.

0504.png

The other rock slab thingies say similar things. We will take a closer look at them as soon as they become relevant.

0505.png

On the other side we have more of the explosive plums. I am not sure whether they are sentient, but if they are, they must be dying to explode in my face again. The jerks!

0506.png

Well, at least I will be able to pay for the ensuing medical procedure.

0507.png

Well, there is no use in procrastinating, I guess.

0508.png

This went surprisingly painless. I feel accomplished.

0509.png

Alright, this must be the puzzle the stone tablets refer to. Let's go back and take another look at what they have to say.

0510.png

Ok, this is obviously something that can't be solved by brute force. This is much more sophisticated!

It is time! Let's get academic!

0511.png

Bottom comes before left.

0513.png

Top comes before bottom.

0514.png

Right comes before top.

0515.png

It can therefore be deduced that the correct order is right, top, bottom, left.

0516.png

Tremble, switches!

0517.png

Tremble before my razor-sharp wit!

0518.png

And it looks like it's true what they say.

0519.png

Having a decent brain will open doors for you.

0520.png

This realization is making me ascend to a whole different level!

0521.png

What is it, Zelda? The puzzle wasn't hard and I shouldn't be so full of myself?

Well, I think you're just jealous. No, stop rolling your eyes at me!

It's so sad. Nobody understands me.

What's that supposed to be in his mouth before it's replaced with a pencil?

Wait, it's supposed to be something? I thought it was his teeth...

It's most likely a cigar though, like Lily said.

I love your drawings. I love you. ;-;

I thought it was a reference to Four Swords Adventures. Since you need the feather item to jump gaps in that game.
