Unpopular opinions about the Mario series

What do you guys got against Donkey Kong?
 
He's a giant, hairy, dirty, flea-infested, stupid, oafish, ugly, disgusting, smelly, dumbass gorilla that makes noises like barfing, retching, coughing, those three combined, and just general dumb noises. He also wears a stupid tie and has a vile flesh sprout growing on his head.

I love to hate him in the same way I love to hate Wario, though. It's a sadist thing rather than true hate.

I'd be totally fine if the next Mario Kart just went full SSB style crossover.

Ride as various Nintendo characters on karts, horses, bikes, warpstars, arwings, gunships, and F-Zero machines. Throw in items and courses from a ton of different games and you got a deal.

Not to me. Smash Kart could be a thing, but I don't want it to replace Mario Kart.

They didn't even get in at the height of their popularity, why would they bother with them after the fact?
