Maybe the guards will only let you in Bowser's Castle if you pay an amount of coins.

I played a game as a kid where you had to do that.

Frogger's Adventure: Temple of the Frog.

I loved that game as a kid... You had to pay 50 coins to enter the temple of the frog right? It was my first GBA game.. It came bundled with the GBA SP right?

I can't see Petey and King Boo as tower bosses. Hopefully, if there is a special world(s) at least one of them can be in it.

That was THE most interesting part of the trailer... Of course, I found the coins interesting, but really, the whole theme of the game seems to be coins. I remember saying that this week make lives even MORE meaningless since now it's so easy to get coins in this game, while someone else said there's more to coins in this game then getting extra lives, such as getting more coins then your friend. Well it's too bad I usually play allow, so that doesn't effect me at all.

Perhaps they'll bump up the number of coins per 1-up, to keep you from reaching 99 too quickly.
