Anything that has to do with Mario Party 4 goes here.

I don't like the Mega/Mini Mushrooms or the Bowser mini-games, but most of the boards were nicely designed and the Lotto Shop was a good addition. And, oh yeah, the characters celebrating their birthdays in Story Mode was cool. Those were some awesome presents.

Finally, someone that agrees with me. I hated how EVERY single board had that same metal path, I wanted to walk around on the ground like the other Mario parties.

It might be the nostalgia factor for me (i played this a lot when I was younger) but I thought this was the best Mario Party without a doubt. Toad's Quick Draw, Hop or Pop, and Dungeon Duos are my favorite Minigames, I think. Oh, and Booksquirm. Not sure which board was my favorite, they were all pretty awesome. And finally, I loved the present mode.

Yeah I really liked this game.

The metal path aside, the boards were creative IMO.

Toad=Amusement Park
Shy Guy=Jungle
Boo=Haunted House
Goomba=Casino
Koopa=Tropical Resort

Considering how rare the Bowser Suit is in 4, I'm thinking it was just a mistake in the game's boxart.
 
I love Avalanche. It's very fun.
 
Yeah, they were good Ideas but I felt they could've been better.

I would've liked walking through an amusement park, not above it.
Jungle had been used in MP1 before
The Haunted House just felt like everything was tinted Blue, hardly any other colors
The Casino was alright, I don't mind it.
I feel the Metal Patha actually worked allright. Since it went over the water, but they could've made it that you walked on the sand on the Beach part, but they kept the metal path.

Also, my major annoyance was it was too slow. I don't know why there wasn't an option to choose the characters speed. I looked through the settings and couldn't find it. So half the time I'd be on the computer while I waited a minute or 2 for my slow CPU's to end their turns.
When I finished Story Mode I was so happy that I never had to complete it again.
 
Oh dear god, Story Mode is SO tedious. Fortunately, the custom pack ROCKS.
