This is from October of last year. There is absolutely no harm in making a new thread for something that hasn't been used in nearly a year. In fact, there's a warning that encourages making a new topic for anything older than four months.

Usually, the general golden rule of message boards I know is "It is always better to post in an already existing thread than to start a new one".

There's an official rule that state "Try to avoid making topics that already exist. If you're unsure whether it's already been made you can use the search button to check." It's in the "Official Rules & Guidelines" thread by Wayoshi.
