For one example, in Mario Kart DS, the Cucumber's mini-turbo is better than the Rambi Rider's, but the mini-turbo stat is not a visible stat for that game.

From what I heard, the Acceleration stat determines the mini turbo in MKDS

I hope Nintendo don't use hidden stats for Mario Kart Wii U.

Hmm, I never knew about these hidden stats. That's kind of dumb to hide stats like that IMO.

I unlocked Metal Mario now, yesss;;;

Mario Kart Wii never really had hidden vehicle stats, so it's possible.

It kinda did. Stability was one of them. Same with the degree of drifting. I felt that the Offroader drift sharper than the Jetsetter even though its drift stat was lower.

I guess when you think it over, you'd notice that the Tiny Titan is less stable than most other vehicles.
 
I just unlocked the Tiny Tug just before on 2500 Coins. I also got 3 Stars on Every Cup so now I have it next to my name.
I don't know whether to switch the Cloud 9 for the Tiny Tug. I really love how it looks with the Cloud 9, but not so much with Tiny Tug.
 
So I think I figured out the point of the titles you receive (Banana Blitzer, Star Racer, Drift Wizard, etc.).

I got my first MK7 StreetPass tag today and the guy had the rank of "Banana Blitzer". I raced in his Grand Prix and all his Mii did was launch banana peels at me with startling accuracy. I'm a Drift Wizard, so I wonder how my guy's gonna do.

Yeah, that's what they do. I was bob-omb blaster in my brother's game this one time, and he claimed I kept getting bob-ombs and launching them at him.
 
I recently looked at an updated chart of the kart stat boosts, and it seems that the Cact-X actually excels better while underwater. It may not sound like much, but it would seem that the Cact-X is not quite as worthless as it was previously thought.

Also, it seems that the Barrel Train is the slowest kart body underwater; in a way, that does makes sense.

That only makes the kart useful for stages with mainly water like:
-Cheep Cheep Lagoon
-Wario Shipyard
-Koopa Beach (able to cut trough water area without worrying about losing speed.)
 
Cact-X won't be my main, but it's still unique for boosting both handling AND off-road; most other kart parts boost one and hinder the other.

Still, the fastest kart bodies underwater seem to be the Egg 1 and Tiny Tug (the former being a body that I'll most likely use).
 
I unlocked Pipe Frame today. Now all I have left is the Ghastly Glider and the pyrite parts.
 
It seems that the Zucchini is all bark, since its hidden stats state that it's the worst kart body, based on its stat total.
 
Aw, I liked the Zucchini. Oh well, that still won't prevent me from winning races with CPUs
 
It looks like I may be utilizing the Koopa Clown after all, since it apparently has a high mini-turbo boost, to go with its high handling.
