That can be hard to do, but if you do something like...

Bowser + Bumble V + Wood + Paraglider

Speed: 3.5/6
Acceleration: 3.25/6
Weight: 3.25/6
Handling: 3.25/6
Off-Road: 3.75/6

You'd get balanced normal stats for every category. Sadly, you won't exactly get balanced stats with the Monster tires, since at best, your handling can only go up to 2.25 with them.
 
On a different subject, are there people who choose their combos, based on the characters they're using? It's mostly a curious question.

I choose the fastest combanation on courses like Waluigi Pinball and the same thing as before but with Super Glider on courses like Luigi's Mansion

My plans were to pretty much hold back on unlocking the characters until I've taken care of the 50cc and 100cc. After all, you do have to star rank all the cups in those classes to get the Gold Tires, not that I plan to use the Gold Tires or anything. And of course, it does give you a head start with unlocking all the kart parts; if you're lucky enough, you could get 640 coins by the time you start the 150cc.
