I think MKW had good music. I like most of the New Music. Whats wrong with it.

I replaced it with better ones. I liked Diddy Kong Racing and Mario Kart 64's soundtrack more than Mario Kart Wii's.

I think Mario Kart Wii 's music was just as good as Mario Kart 64.

I actually found some of the musics a bit generic i.e. Rainbow Road

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Some music in Mario Kart Wii was good (Toad's Factory and Bowser's Castle Wii were my favorites), but I didn't care about the others. The time I replaced the music, the courses began to be more enjoyable to race in. Heck, sometimes, I even enjoy racing with no music

Thats kinda funny, because I've had the Toad Factory music stuck in my head for a while. xD And racing with no music would be hard for me.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

How dare you try to resist the godly music of Toad's Factory.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

A lot of MKW themes get stuck in my head. They can sometimes get Annoying and I try to think of something else.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Really, I find most of Mario Kart Wii's music to be quite forgettable. In fact, BLOF and I replaced Maple Treeway's music with the Forest Temple music. And I enjoy playing without music. It creates a weird, empty feeling.

How can you play that with the Forest Temple music that dose not fit.

I know it feels weird without the music.

Hey, I also replaced Peach Garden's music with Darkmoon Caverns from Diddy Kong Racing, Bowser's Castle N64 with Calling to the Night from Metal Gear, and DK Summit's music with The Fly (a jazz piece).

I like weird, unfitting music. Besides, the Forest Temple kind of fits.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

So where is the rule that replaced music HAS to fit? :/

Besides, I like my YMCA over DK Jungle Parkway, thank you

Hey, well if you guys are hating on YMCA, then Its fun to stay at the DKJP!

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

I sometimes mute my TV/DSi and listen to music on my iPhone while playing Mario Kart.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

The best way to do it is actually replace the background music. :)

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

I think the normal music is fine, did you replace all tracks.

Not all. Some tracks contain STRM files, which are mulit-channeled music. I have yet to edit them. Multi-channeled music is like when the music gets slightly changed in certain places, such as Dry Dry Ruins and Koopa Cape.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

There are some tracks people made themselves, but making tracks is very difficult, so we still used Nintendo's tracks.

You can always change the music if you don't like it. The best part about modifying the contents is that nothing will be permanent.

How do you do it.

Re: Gliders, Underwater propeller things, Mario Kart 3DS looks AWESOME

Well...there are steps to it, including setting up the Homebrew channel and installing Riivolution and installing the SZS modifier. It might soud difficult and complicated, but my sister and I had no idea how to do this at first.

I'll just stick with the normal Music.
