I wouldn't be surprised if she did hold a grudge against Twilight; some people hold grudges for a really long time. I mean, she was humiliated when she couldn't take care of the Ursa Major (turned out to be the Ursa Minor) and having Twilight end up victorious. Also, even though her last line may have been a "boasting effort", she was probably really angered deep inside.Northern Verve said:

Yeah so realistically the only way this would work was if her visit to ponyville so ruined her reputation that she was unable to find work (which is weird since she does free shows for people) and so she was trying to gain revenge based on that but even that doesn't work since it wasn't the main 6's fault it was snips and snails who brought the damn thing there. Also if she is permanently killed off she either needs to be fully villainous (which doesn't work because she was simply to arrogant) or it will be one of the worst ending ever because it punishes a character for wearing an evil necklace. Also for those of you saying she will be working with the king remember that she has no idea who the king is just like every pony including twilight up until the events of 2 episodes ago so in order for her to be working with the king she would have to be tricked by him although I guess it would work if the the necklace worked like Majora's Mask did and warped the users emotions but I highly doubt that's what will happenNorthern Verve said:
