You have a point. I mean, why even bother trying to keep giving Shuckle attack EVs? Or giving Shedinja HP? So long as it fits with your EV strategy, it's fine.

You could also sacrifice useless attack for speed, using Lace's example.

You can create more specialized Pokemon that way.

I do that things. Also I equilibrate moves.
Example: A Staraptor has got amounts of Attack, but very few special attack. So I didn't learn him any special attack move.

Wasn't it confirmed that berries or blocks could actually LOWER STATS?

I remember reading that in a guide somewhere.
