    At last. Finally caught up on all my composition stuff after falling behind a couple days since I didn't want to write paragraphs at the time. Fall break starts Friday, and I have a bit of time to work on my gifted game project again too. Coyote vs. Acme reaaally inspired me to push myself huh...

    Unlock the Radical in Ball X Pit, then send him off into a level and bang your head against the wall as he does very stupid things and can't get past the halfway point :D (For context, Radical just plays the game himself, moving, shooting, and upgrading)

    Finally beat Ball X Pit today, but as I try to clear the final stage with 8 characters (or 4 runs with 2 characters thanks to that upgrade) and I'm really struggling. Most of my remaining characters are more difficult, and I'd rather work on other things at the same time as watching Radical do stupid things.

    It's also been a rough evening for me, since I just found out a storm in Alabama is canceling my family's trip to Gulf Shores, through which I was gonna stay home and pupposit for a bit of money and work on things without interruption.

    In better news, apparently Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has a new glitch on Switch 2... oh my god Ultimate Challenge 4 will never be a threat to me anymore (until they patch it, but Ubisoft is Ubisoft)

    I love how if you swap the first letters in the first two words of Hazy Maze Cave to get Mazy Haze Cave, you still get a name that gets the point across for the stage. Was just thinking about spoonerisms and noticed that

    Didn't think I'd be taking pictures of the sun setting since it gave me a level idea but here I am, ten pictures later and an idea brewing

    Mostly was taking these pictures for not only the way the clouds looked, but also to accomplish that gradient shift as the sun goes down. My plans so far are for the sun to go down in the escape, then shift to a silhouette style during the escape like with various DK stages

    In other news, finally watched Coyote vs. Acme this past weekend with my grandma, and I really enjoyed it. I'm so glad Ketchup Entertainment decided to save the film and make sure it got out to the world despite its fate as a tax write off.

    I was going to write a Composition paper on the entirety of Phineas and Ferb, but this is likely a better choice, since its much more fresh on my mind and likely has FAR more examples of logos, pathos, and ethos to use (I need at least 4 each, for context) than a favorite kid's show I don't have a full mental recollection of.

    Decided that, for my gifted project this semester, I should make at least a couple level concepts in a preexisting engine, namely the Super Mario Construct engine since its the most familiar level design engine I've used and is the easiest to access without having to get teachers/classmates to buy a game. I also want to make some prototype music as well, just to get into it. My second semester project will hopefully be having my game a bit coded as well as more levels so... ye a lot of work. While it'll probably be till December when I get those finished, I'll definitely share the pages for the levels here if I remember!

    Well, I beat Everhood! Decided to try the game out after hearing some of its music in Rift of the Necrodancer, and it was a lot of fun. Beat the entire* game in Hard mode, and while I haven't seen the credits roll yet (in the final room I believe), I'm just about there.
    I found the Dev Gnomes fight and unfortunately could not beat it on any higher difficulty. I had to use Story Mode for it since the note spam was far too difficult for me. Every other battle besides the pacifist ending battle and the Cat God has been beaten though

    Lap 2.5 is going swell... first couple levels are done! Then had this stuff happen in practicing Ancient Cheese and decided to make a short out of it
    Only I could pause just a few frames before the bomb explodes, and get an idle animation that's fitting to trigger at the same time lmao

    Finally FC'ed Unexpectancy, Part 3 on Impossible in Rift of the Necrodancer on Switch :D
    Don't have the screenshot right now, since I don't have a USB-C to C cord afaik, but I'm the lowest rated FC on the platform. WHO CARES THOUGH, I FINALLY DID IT after three months and a really close choke :')

    Welp, had to swap computers. Time to log into everything again!! Thankfully I have all my old files on a external hard drive this time so all my pixel art and stuffs saved.
    EDIT: Oh my god I just thought I was so screwed. This new computer (a Surface Pro for context) does not have any USB-A ports - which I needed for both my capture card and the hard drive. Thankfully both of them convert to USB-C, which are supported on this computer. PHEWWWWW

    I'm sure the newbie there may be a bit obvious as to what their name is lmao... but their name is Tillya! A combined form of Faikit and Maikit that actually can mimic the player who will hopefully function as a kind of Cosmic Clone for a unique boss level!

    Thinking about it... I love how both Super Mario Parties have the exact opposite problems. Super had great minigames but not great boards, and Jamboree has great boards but low minigames (and not all in Party mode at that)
    When we see Super Mario Party 3 maybe we'll get the perfect mixture...

    i have such a soft spot for gate keypers for some reason, i couldn't even tell you why lmao. but if you want the real schlock, night lights. why tf did they think anyone wanted another version of crank to rank from 8, that's like one of the worst minigames ever

    Decided to try to fight one of the preHardmode bosses for the first time today, specifically the
    Eater of Worlds
    .
    Mainly using bombs and such to take it down. I got pretty far on attempt one, and died from fall damage in attempt two... the bombs I had dropped got it down to 520 HP before it despawned. I'll get em next time for sure... and I got the King Slime summon item while I was down there summoning that boss, and I guess I'm not afraid of the Corruption pre-hardmode anymore... 19 defense does that I guess
    I may also be one very lucky guy... fished up a Golden Crate on my fourth ever fishing attempt. Used a blue dragonfly with the wooden fishing pole no less

    Once again thinking about funny dates, the entirety of February 22nd, 2022 was perfect. Fell on a Tuesday, no less, so it was a perfect 2sday. No idea how long it'll take for that to happen again, but it will be at least 100 years, likely much more than that before it happens again though

    Reading the Terraria wiki, apparently Copper and Tin don't usually generator in the same worl- oh wait I just realized I'm dumb. Tin is my world's first ore, I haven't mined copper once now that I think about it. The starter tools messing with my brain lol
