You ever just listened to a song and gotten inspired to make something based on it
well this is "To the Moon!" a non-project level I'm working on, where Mario naturally ascends upwards towards the moon after a beat drop and has to dodge Koopas and other flying enemies along the way, with various background shifts and stars. It's not too far from being done, I've made everything except most of the enemies. And yes, Ducktales NES's Moon theme is almost the entire inspiration for the level lmao
Well, I've completed Brothership! Only missed a couple challenges for 100%, those being the Glohm Enemy (4 short), the final Bros. Attack one (4-6 short iirc), and the Barebones Battle one (288 short). Loved the game, took me 50 hours overall and 40 minutes in the final boss (which, might I add, was pretty epic for being mostly unspoiled on it.)
Despite the fact I cleared all of today except for one class of assignments to have some time to play PEAK on NS2, I still took till 3:30 to finish that work. Adobe Illustrator is just so frustrating for me geez
Oh boy! I'm gonna make some hedgehog stew today!

    What?

    Get that hedgehog!

Love this YTP. and it's finally Peak release day. Was gonna play it with my dad but he would need the Playstation online subscription to make it work so there went that.
    Trade offer among myself
I receive: 18 assignments of work to do in one afternoon
I also receive: a free day to try out Peak when it releases on consoles tomorrow, except for live sessions (which, with the whole PHP chaos thing going on, might not even happen anyways since they were canceled today)
Currently chiseling away at that bit by bit. Last time I did this was... a year ago for Replanted, but this time it's for a game I know will be good.
I somehow found a glitch in the Donkey Kong Adventure by the way, documented by this slightly edited video. How am I this good at finding random glitches lmao
For some reason, in Challenge 3-1 (and i'd assume other stages with Side Eye), getting hit by Side Eye's hero sight within range for SE to get hit as well while also trying to throw an enemy at him will cause the enemy to phase through the floor and not take Out of Bounds damage. It's probably better to see it anyways so let me link it below.
I have almost 100%'ed the Donkey Kong Adventure! I've gotten every treasure, completed every non-Ultimate challenge, and have nearly every gold trophy except for the one on the Mega Rabbid Kong refight. I even played the first Ultimate Challenge and beat it first try. Definitely much easier than the first Ultimate Challenge of the base game, or I'm just more accustomed to DKA's battle style so I'm better at it. Then again, its normal enemies that are spawned over 6 turns instead of 11 minibosses spawning all at the start.
It appears the ghosts are at it again
I was just closing the door after grabbing something to drink from outside... just for the doorknob to come clean off when the door closed.

    Wow-eth
These are the best and worst images I've ever made for a video so far so uhh yes

I'll share a video link eventually in replies so that these images make sense in context lmao

dear god, there's more (this one being made for a single second joke at the end of the loop with the victory screen lmao)

and here's the video link that these images were made for... the context is more so there I guess
Listening to Midboss Melody normally for the first time in a while... ascension
Replaying the DK Mario + Rabbids DLC with no Health Up now... just defeated Side Eye once again and I've got 5/20 puzzle pieces. Astronotter's series on completing M+R without primaries (specifically the vid covering the DLC) made me get back to it lol
PEAK is now coming to Switch 2 and other consoles.... time to prep my best "AA FALLIN' DOWN THE MOUNTAIN" screams I guess
went to Top Golf today and found out I can hit a golf ball at 75 miles per hour - I think average carry was like 50 yards, and my furthest ball sunk into the hole at about 90 yards. best drive was 70 yards
that's right folks: I can hit a golf ball faster than I've driven in a car in my tests and practice
With Vampire Crawlers' new Death Parade update, they added Moongolow... reading the new unlocks and seeing "Moongohigh" got a laugh outta me lmao
At last. Finally caught up on all my composition stuff after falling behind a couple days since I didn't want to write paragraphs at the time. Fall break starts Friday, and I have a bit of time to work on my gifted game project again too. Coyote vs. Acme reaaally inspired me to push myself huh...

Yes, though its just tomorrow and monday for me.
i have another way to waste time!
Unlock the Radical in Ball X Pit, then send him off into a level and bang your head against the wall as he does very stupid things and can't get past the halfway point :D (For context, Radical just plays the game himself, moving, shooting, and upgrading)

Finally beat Ball X Pit today, but as I try to clear the final stage with 8 characters (or 4 runs with 2 characters thanks to that upgrade) and I'm really struggling. Most of my remaining characters are more difficult, and I'd rather work on other things at the same time as watching Radical do stupid things.

he actually beat the stage when i partnered him with the tactician god that took forever
There is not a vibe quite like staying up a bit late to work on some Compostion work I'm behind on and using Note Block Studio and some MIDIs in the background... good times
Still focusing Coyote vs. Acme for my essay, by the way! Going much better than Phineas and Ferb was
It's also been a rough evening for me, since I just found out a storm in Alabama is canceling my family's trip to Gulf Shores, through which I was gonna stay home and pupposit for a bit of money and work on things without interruption.

In better news, apparently Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle has a new glitch on Switch 2... oh my god Ultimate Challenge 4 will never be a threat to me anymore (until they patch it, but Ubisoft is Ubisoft)
I love how if you swap the first letters in the first two words of Hazy Maze Cave to get Mazy Haze Cave, you still get a name that gets the point across for the stage. Was just thinking about spoonerisms and noticed that
Didn't think I'd be taking pictures of the sun setting since it gave me a level idea but here I am, ten pictures later and an idea brewing

Mostly was taking these pictures for not only the way the clouds looked, but also to accomplish that gradient shift as the sun goes down. My plans so far are for the sun to go down in the escape, then shift to a silhouette style during the escape like with various DK stages
In other news, finally watched Coyote vs. Acme this past weekend with my grandma, and I really enjoyed it. I'm so glad Ketchup Entertainment decided to save the film and make sure it got out to the world despite its fate as a tax write off.

I was going to write a Composition paper on the entirety of Phineas and Ferb, but this is likely a better choice, since its much more fresh on my mind and likely has FAR more examples of logos, pathos, and ethos to use (I need at least 4 each, for context) than a favorite kid's show I don't have a full mental recollection of.

"AcME? Ac-YOU!" has gotta be one of my favorite quotes of the movie that still stick with me, the wordplay is so memorable
Was working on buying all the banana and fossil locators for the Resort layer and ran out of money again... welp time to get back to my shift
