  • Now that I've completed my ghost hunt, I really need to get started on my capstone paper that has a draft due on Sunday.

I'm going to do a capstone essay soon so good luck!
I can't believe tomorrow will be day 3 of hunting for the one singular ghost I still don't have.
Crawling on my bedroom floor and reaching under my bed to grab my phone that had fallen behind it while Strange Aeons was inaudibly telling me about the Hawaiian commune from the Something Awful forums sure was a thing I just did.
The ghosts have escaped from the Shroom and are now messing with the power lines where I live.

...or maybe that's just the rainstorm but it's more fun to think it's the ghosts.
Knowing that Wii Party U just won't let me mod the CPU Mii data without code modifications (which I'm certain is theoretically possible but I have zero expertise in it) is even more frustrating now that I have 111 custom CPU Miis that I would love to put into the game.
If YouTube had waited just one more day to go down, it would have coincided perfectly with the great YouTube outage of October 16, 2018.
Do you think 1-1 from SMB1 could be the most played level in the history of gaming?

I agree 🙂 Especially with all the 1-1 remakes out there on SMM2

Considering the original Super Mario Bros. doesn't have a level select, so anyone wanting to play a later level has to at minimum play 1-1 and 1-2, I think there's good cause to put 1-1 plays ahead of other levels.

i guess it depends on how you define level. according to wikipedia there are 9 games that have sold more copies than super mario bros, and while none of those 9 are linear games split up into levels like smb, the witcher III, red dead redemption 2, and grand theft auto V are all open world games, so if you count the open world as being one big level then they're probably all above 1-1. pubg and mario kart 8 are also above smb and they are technically split up into levels. they're not in a linear progression so i guess there's no gaurentee that every player would have played on any one level of them but since both their sales numbers are above smb by over 10 million i'm willing to bet enough of those players have played on enough of the levels that some of them would be higher than 1-1
I think 2026 is going to be my year. I'm going to look into getting my book traditionally published, I'm going to start teaching next school year, and my mental health has been really good for the last few months and I hope to continue that.
