    Considering the original Super Mario Bros. doesn't have a level select, so anyone wanting to play a later level has to at minimum play 1-1 and 1-2, I think there's good cause to put 1-1 plays ahead of other levels.

    i guess it depends on how you define level. according to wikipedia there are 9 games that have sold more copies than super mario bros, and while none of those 9 are linear games split up into levels like smb, the witcher III, red dead redemption 2, and grand theft auto V are all open world games, so if you count the open world as being one big level then they're probably all above 1-1. pubg and mario kart 8 are also above smb and they are technically split up into levels. they're not in a linear progression so i guess there's no gaurentee that every player would have played on any one level of them but since both their sales numbers are above smb by over 10 million i'm willing to bet enough of those players have played on enough of the levels that some of them would be higher than 1-1

    I'm giving the experience I just had in Miitopia a thumbs down.

    I got the encounter with three Very Rare Snurps and tell Rare Snurps but most of them disappeared and I wasn't satisfied. Cue 12 attempts at just getting them to spawn again while I'm frustrated for various other reasons, and they finally show up. ...just to all disappear again.

    So in the end, I did level up once but it wasted like half an hour and made me very mad.

    Yeah that's one of my few beefs with the game but they are rare so like

    I'm unhappy to report that the weather forecast for where I am, which goes out to next Thursday and which I'll remind you is October 16, shows no highs below 70 degrees and has multiple days with highs in the 80s. Because apparently the Midwest has developed a genuine neverending summer.

    I'm happy to report that I now have bright red hair.

    (at least in the front, most of my hair is black but that's just to help accent the red)

    I don't know what to call it. I don't know the cosmetology words so all I can tell you is that I get the sides cut pretty short but keep the top a little longer.

    I know there's a Fail Award for Nintendo's worst business moves but I feel like there should be one for decisions in specific games that are just completely incomprehensible. Things like introducing tank controls into SM64DS, making battle maps out of regular tracks in the original MK8, bringing back the car in MP10 after no one liked it in 9, or leaving Galaxy 2 out of 3D All Stars.

    I've played Mario Party 9 and 10 rather extensively and I can assure you, the car is not good. It's really fun to strategize your moves in Mario Party and the car entirely takes that away because the entirety of what you can strategize is whether to go left or right if you happen to be captain at the intersection. 10 having the best minigames and music... I'm not so sure about that either. It has its moments but I wouldn't call it the best in the whole series.

    However, I do agree that 9 and 10 look really good. 9 looks a little crunchier than what came after it because Wii but they definitely nailed the style.

    I realized today that I'm going to have to make lecture outlines for all my class periods once I start teaching. I know that's just a part of the job but it's going to be so uninteresting.

    I just know that my least favorite part of the actual teaching process is going to be preparing outlines and handouts beforehand but if I don't come prepared, my ADHD will start teaching and my class will get absolutely nothing done.

    I'm sure this is a Xenforo thing and not something our staff could do anything about but why does the "you can't change your username yet" message say "You can change your username after X date" and give the last day and can't change it instead of "You can change your username on Y date" and give me the date I can change it?
