    I'm replaying Miitopia on a different save file and I'm being reminded just how much of a drag the first part is. So much of it is just doing laps back and forth from Greenhorne Castle to do various people's busy work and it is so dull.

    Technically, you could still review the Wii Shop Channel as long as you're okay with your only sources of content being the Wii U Transfer Channel and the Twilight Princess Update Channel.

    The update channel fixes that permanent softlock that you can get relatively easily in Twilight Princess (as far as I know, I've never played Twilight Princess) and I'm pretty sure Nintendo never made another channel like it.

    It's the final enemy in my journal (not the Iron General, no one cares about him) and I went into the fight, immediately closed the game, recast the abducted friend as myself, and then actually did the fight.

    There's something kinda funny about the idea that I'm finishing my monster journal in the same place the game starts.

    I clicked on an MSBT file to open it and it didn't open so I clicked on the program itself to open it and it still didn't open.

    Look, I don't care if the official title is "Gonna Make You Sweat," that's not what I or anyone else calls it. Let's just all collectively agree that the real title is Everybody Dance Now and that C&C Music Factory got their own title wrong.

    So I had some kind of software issue that made my 3DS think I changed the time to March 29, 2050 so I set it back to today, but now all my islanders seem to think it's actually been 25 years since they last saw me even though it was like, half a day at most.

    If it happened on your 3DS, then your islanders would actually be villagers, since the 3DS Animal Crossing is called New Leaf, which takes place in a town rather than on an island like its Switch 1 successor, called New Horizons. 🤓☝️

    Ohhhh, my bad. I thought you were talking about Animal Crossing, since in those games, characters will also comment on the absence of your characters for prolonged periods of time. 😂

    I'm not the first person to do this but with all the tech it required to get to this point, I'm proud of myself for it.

    I think my fears about breaking the back plate of my 3DS from taking it off so much are justified when the little rings that hold the screws in place have broken and now the screws don't like going in properly.

    Bonetail is very similar to Gloomtail, just with much more HP, limited heals and breath attacks that inflict a variety of status effects rather than just poison (which you can get around with Feeling Fine badges or guarding), but actually without some of the attacks that Gloomtail has such as Earthquake and Megabreath. So if you could take down Gloomtail then Bonetail shouldn't be a problem as long as you have enough patience.

    Don't you just absolutely hate a difficulty wall? Not a curve, not a spike. Just a wall where you'll slam your face and be humiliated.

    I used a strategy on accident that makes Bonetail really easy to defeat, but you need Charge P badges (depending on how powerful you want your charges) and FP restoring items.
    Basically, with Yoshi out, use Charge P (for +2 damage each turn while not breaking the chain) while attacking for bits and pieces of damage and healing with Mario. The turn before you unleash your Yoshi attack (either being Ground Pound or Stampede, and I would recommend a power of +8 or higher), use a Power Lift to get a potential +4 more damage, then use Ground Pound or Stampede the next turn. You could bring Hot Sauce, like I did, to add another point on Mario's turn, and if the first Yoshi mega attack does not kill, but Bonetail is low, either start charging up another or deal larger damage with your remaining Power Lift turns.
    I hope this helps take down the difficulty wall! (Somehow, I did not struggle with this fight. I have not, however, gone back down yet to get my last tattle...)
