  • Canoeing is the worst game in Wii Sports Resort. The controls are clunky and the gameplay is underwhelming. Honestly swimming would have been better. 😒

So here's a little fun fact about canoeing... it was actually the last one they added to the game. If I remember correctly, there was another sport they were planning to make instead but it didn't work out so they made canoeing in its place.

E: Another fun fact is that there was most likely a planned mode where you would compete against the CPUs. There's unused rank data in the files for all the CPU Miis, but it's not anything interesting since it just goes in numerical order from 00 to 63 (because hexadecimal). Just in case you needed more proof it was probably pretty rushed.

It makes sense that it was rushed. There is one positive about it, though: the ducklings are adorable lol

This is a Balloon Mario plush off Ali Express. I'm pretty sure it's unofficial, obviously Nintendo would never allow this. It's just so goofy looking lol 🤣
Jamboree's graphics remind me of Mario Party 10's graphics and I absolutely love that since I think Mario Party 10 is a great game. I don't have a Wii U but I've watched lots of gameplay videos on it and it looks awesome! 😎
I want to make a game suggestion list for my irl friends. They like mellow games and Mario games. Any suggestions?
Do you need to find the Blockafellers Smiley flowers to 100% Yoshi's Crafted World or just the ones from the Front Side and Flip Side of levels? I'm not sure.

I think it's required because I haven't played the game in a long time

I did every flower and every costume for my 100% run, which also includes every Hide and Seek, ball machine and the item searches, so that's probably what counts for 100% completion.

NSMBU update: I'm on the last level of Superstar Road! I realized the trick for most of the levels was to either use Nabbit or Toadette so I could worry less about enemies and more about the platforming.
I reached Superstar Road in NSMBU and mama mia, it is tough! I'm determined to beat it, though. I'm only on the second level, Run for It, and I cannot hit the p-switch after the second star coin no matter how hard I try. 🥵

I've actually 100% NSMBU on Switch TWICE! It's so difficult sometimes, but you can do this, Luigi!

I'll keep trying then. Got any tips?

Some levels, take it slow, such as 9-8 and 9-6, iirc. On 9-2, just focus and don't get angry if you die too often. Take a break every couple levels. These levels are definitely not some of the hardest ones I've played, but they are pretty high. And if you want to do Challenge mode, some stages twist 9-8 into a nightmare... so be careful!

I found this in PatMac's Youtube video on Super Mario bootlegs and honestly he was right when he said that you can tell it's fake. The creators didn't even try to detail the dress and her face makes her look like a fish.
Splatoon 3 is a great game. I hope Raiders doesn't mean no Splatoon 4.

There is no doubt that there will be a Splatoon 4, since Raiders is explicitly called a spin-off. It would probably be a while before Splatoon 4 gets announced, going by the way things are now.

    Thank you for reading.

Splatoon 2 and Splatoon 3 sold a combined 25.56 million copies.
They're going to make Splatoon 4.
Virtual Boy is back?! I thought Nintendo wanted to forget about it! 😳

nah nintendo has treated the VB as a whole meme thing for...honestly probably nearly as long as you've been alive (plus also their museum in japan has a VB emulator so this is putting it to use outside of the museum)
Oh my goodness...I'm having a joy overload from that Nintendo Direct. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 coming to Switch 1 (I already own the Wii version of Galaxy 1 but I'm happy about Galaxy 2), Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream on Switch 1, and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie? I'm so hyped for it all! The 40th anniversary direct did not disappoint! 🥹
I think if Bowser Jr appears in the upcoming Mario movie sequel, the "Mama Peach" scenario should at least be referenced somehow.

If they do, I hope that the conversation Bowser and Bowser Jr. have about it in the aftermath goes something like that Jehtt video (Without any of the NSFW stuff, of course):

:bowser:: So, Junior, about Princess Peach...
:bowjr:: Yeah, I know, dad. She isn't actually my mom.
    :bowser:: You already knew?!
:bowjr:: Yeah, I mean, she's a human, and we're, y'know, turtles. It didn't really make any sense.
:bowser:: I suppose it was a pretty bad lie...But I did so because I wanted to bring a mother figure into your life, Junior.
:bowjr:: Me too, dad. Why do you I think I played along with the whole thing?

And the rest of the conversation consists of father and son reconciling with one another and that they'll sooner or later bring a woman into their life that could serve as a spouse to Bowser and assume a motherly role to Junior.
I am struggling to beat Sonic Mania Chemical Plant Zone 1. Anyone know how to reach the goal?

It's "I can't find the exit to this room". I've beaten it once before but I can't remember where. I finally had figured out how to play as Knuckles and I had to start a new save file lol

Okay, lets try this set of instructions

    1. Run to the right, but when you see the tunnel in the road ahead, jump and land on top of the tunnel. Then continue moving to the right. This avoids the maziest parts of the level.
    2. Fend off the enemies as you go forward, go through the loop and let the ramps do the rest. You end up at a passage facing to the left with pipes where the blue balls appear from. Go through
    3. The end of that passage has a one way door and a spring. Use the spring to bounce up, then proceed to the right
    4. You will enter an area with back and forth springs and paths that lead downward. Use them. The booster at the end will launch you to the right.
    5. From that network of pipes you will run ahead and probably collide with a red spring leading to another downward path. For now, take it. It leads into a booster and another path to the right.
    6. Keep running to the right, around two more loops. The natural path keeps going down, follow that. That's two more loops followed by the next section.
    7. If you run full speed there's a ramp at the end of this area where you can launch high and reach a higher route. For now, I suggest taking the low route by letting your character fall back down normally. Dodge the enemies and blue balls, then use the booster to go to the right.
    8. You should wind up in the dreaded vertical shaft full of pink water. If you do, congrats! Most of Chemical Plant's routes end at it, meaning you are close to the the goal. The bad news is that its a really hard section, but at least this route puts you in the area at the highest starting elevation. Climb up to the top.
    9. Once you exit, proceed to the left, but slowly,. There are two moving platforms here and you need to cross them
    10. At the end is a short jump up but be careful because the ground here flips around. When it is upside down, you will fall through and land back between parts 7 and 8. I advise a clean jump over. to the left ledge
    11. Use the rotating platforms to climb to the right. On the upper platform you are leaving through, there is a right facing booster. There are two loops to pass through
    12. Really, at this point the goal is within reach so it doesn't matter which route you take. It is distinctly faster to jump over the red spring at this point, then continue moving to the right. This leads to a straight shot for the end. Using the spring to go downward has a slower and more dangerous water segment.
    13. Once you pass through the one way door and hit the checkpoint, the boss is only a short jaunt away.
