Awards Killing Game 2x2: Moon of Hope (Game Thread) - Day 3 - The Rat, the Bat, and the Dragon

Examine the Nautical Exhibit with a darklight
One cannon is full of glowing water. Nothing else is reacting under darklight.

Does the grappling hook match the Train Exhibit scratches at all?

Does the Workshop have any sort of cloth rags in it...?
The grappling hook does not match the scratches.

The Workshop has cloth rags, but they are not missing.

What's been disturbed in the Graveyard tonight, beyond Mr. Thanos's resting spot? Are there any items or markings out of place?

Compare the cannon with glowing water in it to the other ones in the room. Is there anything about it that is different from the rest? Does the water look like it's been disturbed in any way?

What material is the Train Platform made out of? How deep are the scratches?

Is there any blood in the Train Exhibit in a noticeably odd location compared to the trisecting, or some marks or footprints near the room exits?
Fascia wants to know this, too.

It appears the cannon has been pointed towards the northeast wall, towards the Icy Grounds.

The water doesn't look disturbed.

The Train Platform is made out of metal. The scratches are maybe an inch deep.

There isn't any blood outside of the area where Winter's body is, and on the train.

At the exit to the Snowy Grounds, you see a couple footprints in snow.

Have a look around the Snowy Grounds and the Icy Lake. Any footprint trails of note? Or anything else unusual?
You give the Snowy Grounds and Icy Lake a big ol' search.

The footprint trail goes, in both the "coming" and "going" directions, to the Sandy Grounds.

There is the slime monster, currently reclining helplessly in the drained Icy Lake.

A large flower can be found behind the Fishing Hut. It sways gently.

...Fascia also wants to know this.

Do the claw markings on the tree match any fossils from the rafters? Therizinosaurs? Deinonychus?

I heard about these types of creatures from the Fauvist Maestro, when my Maestro and I were visited by her.

The claw marks match those that would be left by the Therizinosaurus.

He then heads to the Sewer to begin his analysis on Ratigan. Vigil moves a bit slow, so please wait warmly.
When Vigil arrives in the sewer, he scans the crisp rat with his lantern as it flashes a few different colors. There's nothing else he can really glean from the body that you haven't discovered already, save that it would take a sizeable explosion to knock Ratigan around like this. One would either need a very large explosive, or to fill the room with some kind of expanding gas, and given the lack of black powder or other residue, he suspects that rules out using a large explosive. There are many flammable gasses however, and they all burn much the same. He states this killing is a somehow a breath of fresh air compared to the other, more gruesome one.

Is the gas in the Smokehouse flammable? What kind of plant matter was used for it?

Hmm. Normally I wouldn't have too much trouble breathing that in, but I think things are different here.

If someone wants to help, then Fascia and I thank you in advance.

It doesn't appear to be flammable. It looks like the burnt plant matter is wolfsbane.

Do a thorough inventory, body, and room check for Miss Coral Glasses.

Scusi... I get to know friends better like this.

corals room has a coat splattered in red paint with objects in the pockets, which you turn out and find shotgun shells, and a packet of seeds with a bean-shaped appearance, a beanstalk plant with a key-shaped flower decorating the packet, and some kind of planetary symbol. theres a bedsheet ghost here. she has a few belongings in a pillowcase like blueprints, grenades, and a strange silken sac. there are also various documents with monetary information scribbled on them, it seems these are her own notes.

Perform the same thorough inventory, body, and room check for Victor. Grazie.

Does the sewer smell faintly (or not faintly) of coal gas?

Use my darklight torch to check the sewer and the bomb/bod

You examine Victor. He appears to have a few documents on him, some kitchen knives, as well as some clock parts. His hands have a bit of motor oil on them. Checking out his bedroom, the bed appears slept in.

You take a whiff of the sewer, but only really smell burning. You can't really tell what was burned in here, only that it hasn't left behind any shrapnel, oil, or black powder residue.

You scan the sewers with darklight. The wall beneath the outflow channel of the sewer is damaged, forming a hole. A sledgehammer has been left by the hole. When you flash the light over the hole... a ghostly eye fades into view, and blinks back at you.

Nothing else here reacts to darklight besides the eye.

Does the eye in the wall react to anything? Hmm... I'm not sure I can hear it like I can Fascia, though.

If there's a way to examine the bottom of the Canyon, are there unwanted things down there?
