Machop Lv. 14 (leaving party soon, got him only for the first gym)

Staravia Lv. 14
Kricketot Lv. 8 (training)

Okay do you seek out the worst Pokemon in the game?

The Shinx and Starly families aren't bad. I used them myself my first time playing Platinum.

Thanks for the advice. I actually dropped him a while ago and replaced him with Buizel.

I never used a spare fighting type because I always make Chimchar evolve before the first gym.
Even so, I still got a spare fighting type just in case.
