I have Xerneas also but Yveltal is more useful.

In the post-game, I decided to actually EV train my Pokemon and train a bunch of my favorites.

Current Pokemon in training:
Bulbasaur (planned to become Mega Venasaur with full HP and Sp. Atk)
Selena (Jolteon)
Winter (Glaceon)
Blaziken (yeah, the Speed Boost one)
Patton (Blastoise)
El Macho (Hawlucha)
Ragnarok (Yveltal)

I would be training Vaporeon and Sylveon, but I want to have them with Wish and I haven't been able to chain breed Wish onto my Eevee yet. I need a Togepi to do so, then I can catch a Skitty and chain breed down to Eevee.

I want to add Florges to my team, but it's pre-evolutions learn Moonblast at a late level and I don't think Florges can learn it at all.

Lol you'd have an extreme weakness to Aegislash (steel) or a poison Pokemon
Sylveon is a beast, mine is Lvl 100. Moonblast just owns everything.

not really a competitive team and none properly super/EV trained. probably gonna start making secondary team after the Looker quest.
 
At the moment I have just a Talonflame with the occasional 5 Sandshrew eggs. Before I sent everyone else to Pokemon Bank to make room for my MM project, at one point I had the following in my Battle Box:

Braixen (Miriel), Granbull (Mr. Crocker), Houndoom (Dole Man), Hawlucha (Rey Mysterio), Gabite (Kodai), Omanyte (Cthulu, now renamed to Lord Helix)

Eventually I'll make a better team with a Victini.

EDIT: I threw together a battle box team so that I can battle and still breed stuff. (I still have Talonflame in my party but now I've got Pumpkaboo eggs).
