Hello there, 'Shroom readers! Issue 231 is live, and you (hopefully) know what that means - it's Community Awards time! And of course, we have another great round of sections to go with it that you can read after you vote, or before your vote, or intermixed while you vote if that's your thing! This time of year always gets me extra appreciative of the fine folks involved in making this paper happen in any capacity, and in making this community a great place to be. Hopefully you appreciate them too!

The Community Awards Dossier has launched and you can now vote for the cool people and cool things going on around here over the past year! Remember that you can cast up to four votes at once, so be sure to spread your appreciation around! You can also cast a second round of votes in the Mario and Fail Awards this week. Voting for all three closes at the end of June 26th, so don't miss your chance!

Quick and random question: how are the "wiki contributor" nominations decided on? Do you have to be a Discord user to be nominated, or do you have to be active within community events besides wiki contributions. I'm not trying to be narcissistic, I'm not saying "hey I should be nominated because I'm so epic and awesome" I'm just curious.

The Wiki staff choose select individuals behind the scenes. Users don't have to be on Discord to be nominated, and the nominees are determined with how they helped edit the wiki (for example, finding sources, names in other languages, taking on big projects, ETC).

Hey yall sorry I wasn't able to get this issue in on time, I had lots of things going on in my personal life plus I had multiple collabs for this issue so I had my work cut out for me, so I guess my daily issue streak is over sorry guys, hope you aren't too disappointed...
